The staff was very helpful, we got a room very early, and a wifi dongle we could use all over town. The location is great, not far from central train station and close to many of the places we wanted to visit

Location in Central Hong Kong was excellent. Room was cozy and sweetly set up; the cleaning staff were especially friendly. Amenities (fridge, safe, AC) worked perfectly. They also gave me a wifi hotspot to use around the city, which was incredibly helpful. And the room was quite spacious—great for staying a few days!

All in all a lovely hotel, but as others have noted one can tell it's a bit older and tired. The carpet was tired/worn so I felt most comfortable using slippers. Wifi worked generally but was a bit spotty for video calls. And while the cleaning staff were so sweet, the lobby staff were a bit cool (not especially warm) even though they would help when asked. These are fairly small things though—generally a positive experience.

The location is unbeatable - smack right in the middle of the city. It’s a stone’s throw away to all the famous local eateries. 7-Eleven is nearby too. MTR stations are a couple of minutes‘ walk away. I love how it’s so central but quiet at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. First hotel I’ve been to where both firm and soft pillows were provided - the former were great by the way. Free coffee in the lobby. Lifts were quick despite only having twice. They lend you a portable WiFi device upon request - it lasts 4-5 hours at a go.

Walls seem to be paper thin - I can hear my neighbour putting in his/her plug on the wall. Housekeeping was so-so. No gym or restaurant in-house. No space to open a large suitcase.

Lovely hotel, and the pocket wifi was a great bonus

Great location, could walk most places but also good access to the metro. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious for one person. It was quite humid so I appreciated the dehumidifier in the room. The reception had tea, coffee and water facilities as well as a comfortable seating area. There was the possibility to store your luggage.

Wi-Fi was temperamental depending where you were in the room, the desk area was not great so I needed to work from my bed. The bathroom has warnings about the steam setting off the sensitive fire alarm which makes you feel nervous about using the hot water/shower.

Great location -- easy walk to virtually everything we wanted to do. Busy street but our room was not noisy. Many food options nearby. Relatively quick walk to airport express as well. Bed was comfy and space adequate. Favorite perk was the pocket wifi that was included with our room -- a small charger sized device that you carry around with you during the day and provides you with free wifi anywhere. My husband and I were able to both use it simultaneously everywhere we went. Saved on our data and was just a neat new tool I'd never seen before. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Really nothing to complain about. The room was a bit dark, but that was fine because we were just there for sleeping.

Location, Location and you all know......

This has nothing to do with this hotel in particular, but with HK newly found green streak. No proper water in the room? I ain't drinking your smelly, filthy local water, no way ( I once lived in HK). No plastic? ok! what about glass bottles? I must take medication with proper means! Basically, HK is trying to transfer responsibility, it doesn't solve the problem, it is an hypocritical approach! I was looked down in HK because I put my shopping into my backpack, refusing the plastic bags! when HK banned plastic bags, the cashier just told me that I was good! Maybe! Not happy now....

Great location and very helpful and friendly staff. It was clean and well serviced. The shower was excellent. I stayed for 5 days and then extended for another 3. It became my home in Hong Kong.

The rooms are close together, so conversations in the hallway—or even in neighboring rooms—carried easily into mine. Signs reminding guests to keep voices down in shared areas could help. Also, the room doors slam unless closed gently, so it was jarring each time a neighbor came or went. I wore high-quality earplugs to avoid being woken by people returning to their rooms late at night.

Free, early check- in was organised for us after we arrived early. Luggage stored while this was organised. Room and ensuite tastefully organised. After check out, again luggage stored and reception facilities made available to us. Prompt attention to minor problem with bathroom. Staff (Clint) provided 240volt adaptors for us, again promptly. We were alerted to a potential noise issue, which didn’t eventuate. Proactive management noted. Main advantage was the location near the Hong Kong covered walkway and escalator system, which is unheralded but functions superbly to help with the steep hills. One photo ( uploaded ) shows the escalator up above, and hilly terrain, nearby. e.g. Soho, above the hotel, becomes accessible . Metro trams, ferries also. Location was perfect for us. Right in the liveliness of Hong Kong, but not in the night scene/ noisy area.. Beds were great and the airconditioning worked really well. We were really doubting which side to stay (Kowloon or Hong Kong Island), but having spent 4 days in Hong Kong we are really happy with having stayed on Hong Kong Island.

The construction next door starting every day (except Sunday) at 7.15 was not great. But at least the hotel provided ear plugs haha. The noise was not that bad luckily.
