This is an amazing place to stay in Hong Kong specially if you hate the chaos of the center like I do. I unfortunately had to stay in Hong Kong for a week to wait for my chinese visa and my past experiences with accommodations in Hong Kong had been absolutely traumatizing. Staying in the South Nest however made me not hate Hong Kong so much anymore, the Aberdeen area is very safe, there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. The hotel itself is clean, the staff was polite and helpful and they have all the facilities you might need. I definitely recommend it.

A little bit far from the metro but there are plenty of bus lines close by.

The room was really confortable with a nice view. There is a kitchen but I did not found enough tools to use it. The laundry is also a real plus, WeChat or Alipay are mandatory for payment. A bit far from the city center but there are many buses, restaurants and convenient stores around.

The main negative point is about the elevators. Two elevators are available for the rooms, which was not really enough, and one of them was out of service. There is a third elevator that you can use to go to the laundry or gym rooms but it is used for service and it takes ages to get in it.

A lot of public transport nearby; Laundry with two washers and two dryers, price for washing $30 and $40 for dryer. Waiting area with all you need for comfortable waiting like sofa, giant tv, ps4, nintendo switch; Filtered water refill; Comfortable beds; Working area; Good wifi with full coverage; Two room keys!!

Really small room, no place to open luggage. Its hard to catch right temperature of water in shower: its or too hot, or too cold. It was scary to use elevator, it needs renovation. Bathroom door is really thin and has holes, it is absolutely useful, because you can hear everything that happens inside, that is not comfortable :( No central heating, sometimes it was cold (conditioning does not work for heating).

Good location, the city center was a short bus ride away. There are a few local restaurants and bakeries in the area..as well as McDonald's and 7 eleven. The room is clean and modern, cleaned every day. There was a kitchen on each level. There is a nice gym area and chill out area in the basement.

The double room was small and cramped. Due to the weather, it was difficult to keep the room from feeling a little damp. The bottom felt cold. The AC was not very effective.

The staff is very helpful and friendly, location is at a peaceful corner in Aberdeen which closes to the pier. There are convenient stores 7eleven, Circle K, McDonald’s, not to mention the local stores sell fruits, yummy eggtart, local cuisines,… The stay I had at South Nest was enjoyable and was worth every penny.

There was 1-2 early mornings I was woke up by some men who were talking very loud in the hallway outside of my room.

Its quiet and peaceful, hotel staffs are very responsive and helpful. The room we booked is so clean and very comfortable. The hotel is near to few restaurants, convenience stores and many bus stops. Its far away from Airport/MTR stations but its manageable by riding a bus. Commuting is so easy, just use the Citymapper app.

Quite far from center, but the price compared to hotels in center was a bit cheaper. Buses and MRT are used popularly in the city so it was not so difficult to manage

Good amenities overall, staff was helpful.Laundry/game, gym, yoga rooms were good. Housekeeping attends to rooms every day, changing towels and making beds. Location has lots of small shops, bakeries, and MacDonald very close. Aberdeen shopping area is a 10 minutes walk. Bus routes to other shopping areas is between 20 to 35 minutes. Very close to Ocean Park.

They can improve cleaning on hallways and rooms e.g., bottom of window and room corners were not vacuumed or swept. Guests have to bring dish soap to wash kitchen ware. No business center on premises. Rooms can be quiet small.
