Perfect location if you like quiet places like us. There is bus stop on the corner but we rented a car. Very friendly and helpful stuff, always make sure you are happy. We had very beautiful family room, very clean with everything what we needed. Highly recommended, would definitely come back.

Our 7-day stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional, surpassing all our expectations. The rooms are beautifully furnished and well-equipped, featuring amenities such as WiFi, a Nespresso machine, daily fresh towels, and air conditioning. The pool area provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, with a convenient pool bar serving refreshing beers and iced coffees. Breakfast was a daily highlight, offering a fantastic spread. We were particularly impressed by their attentiveness to dietary needs - my vegan partner was provided with a specially prepared vegan breakfast plate each morning, which was above and beyond our expectations. What truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding staff, particularly Margarita. The team goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Margarita was exceptionally helpful, providing excellent recommendations for restaurants and local attractions, arranging our transfers, and booking us on an amazing catamaran trip. The level of service and attention to detail has left a lasting impression. We will undoubtedly be returning for another visit. Thank you for a wonderful holiday that exceeded all our expectations!

We liked everything

We've been at Margarenia for 5 days. Location is very good, it's a quite place, close to the beach (10 min by walk) and supermarket/shops. The room was nicely furnished and cozy. Changing towels and cleaning every day. Breakfast is delicious. We really liked the coffee! The staff and their treatment is amazing! Margarita gave us thousands of tips and advices where to go and what to do on the island. They were always helpful and nice. We had a really good time. Highly recommended!

What we liked the most was how incredibly easy everything was. For example, if we wanted a car, we just mentioned it in the morning, and within less than half an hour, it was waiting for us at the hotel. The exceptional cleanliness was also impressive. They even washed the dishes for us when we didn't do it ourselves. We also booked some trips through the hotel, and Mrs. Margarita helped us with everything we needed. One day, we had a trip before breakfast started, and they prepared toast, pastries, and juice for us to take on the road. The pool area is beautifully maintained, and everyone is extremely friendly and kind. We will definitely return because we are more than satisfied. Everything looked even better than in the pictures!

What we didn’t like is that we didn’t book this holiday more than a week, we could stay there forever. Everything was perfect.

Everything! Margarita and Angela were amazing hosts. We arrived late at night but Angela was there to welcome us and show us to our room, along with suggesting a few local places for food that would be open late. The room itself was very spacious, modern and clean, house keeping were in every day refreshing the room. Our first morning after breakfast Margarita invited us into the reception to give us more detail about the island, restaurants, excursions and ways to get about which was extremely helpful. We ended up booking a catamaran boat trip on the back of this chat. The hotel itself gives you everything you could ask for with a traditional Greek but still modern feel. The pool is a great size, sun loungers are great and access to the pool bar is there all day. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and for those days when you want to go into the cities of Fira and Oia there is a bus stop roughly 100 yards from the property to get you there, costing no more than €3 pp per bus. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Margarenia, the hospitality and friendly nature of Margerita, Angela and all the staff really took that to the next level. Highly recommend

Our stay at Margarenia was absolutely wonderful! We got to the hotel via a pre-arranged airport transfer (which I highly recommend for the pure conveniece of it). When we arrived, the staff gave us a map and so much information about the island to help us to plan our activities for our trip. Through them we booked a great bus tour with a guide which took us around Santorini and let us hit a lot of spots in one day. They also informed us on how to make use of the buses on the island, and arranged a car to take us back from Fira at 11:30pm when we called them at 9pm after realising we would not make the last bus. Basically they will make sure you have a great time in Santorini :D The room itself was lovely, clean and cool. We stayed in the split level apartment which was nice and spacious for 4 adults and had 2 balconies. As someone who usually stays in AirBnB's for the freedom of being able to cook and having more of an apartment feel, this was the best of both worlds as you get an apartment with a kitchenette and living area but also get fresh towels, breakfast provided and absolutely amazing service. There is a lovely little pool area which is a great place to relax as well :) Perissa is a wonderful place to stay in Santorini; it's flatter (meaning no lugging bags up stairs and through alleyways) and quieter than places like Fira and Oia, but still accessible to the rest of the island. The location is very close to Perissa beach (10-20 min walk) and the staff gave us plenty of great restaurant and bar recommendations for the Perissa area. There is a small shop 2 mins walk away for water/snacks, and a bus stop there as well, so it's very convenient. The lovely village of Emporio is a walkable distance away from the hotel while everywhere else can be reached pretty easily by bus if you don't drive. Overall we loved Santorini and we loved Margarenia! Thank you to everyone there for their amazing service <3

Room (split level apartment sleeping up to 4) was fabulous. Clean, spacious, handy kitchenette. It had a balcony/terrace area on both floors. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pool area lovely with plenty of beds. Breakfast was buffet style and catered for most tastes. The bus stop was a 5 min stroll and there are plenty of buses to get to Fira/Oia. There is a small supermarket next to the bus stop. Handy to get all the essentials. The hotel arranged a boat trip (which was fun) and we also hired a car for a day through them. The price of both seemed fair. Before arrival I contacted the hotel and they arranged pick up from airport and ferry port. Beware though, despite saying they did take cards, you needed cash!

The walk into town and to the beach was no problem during the day. If you wanted to walk back at night you needed to be careful in places where there were no/not many street lamps. Taxis don’t seem to be readily available. The hotel staff and staff in the local restaurants were very dismissive of us trying to get round in a taxi!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Margarenia and highly recommend it! From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. Despite our flight being delayed, the prearranged taxi transfer was excellent, with a friendly and patient driver. Our room matched the online photos perfectly and was spotless. The apartment was cleaned daily, with fresh bottles of shampoo and coffee/tea replenished regularly. Breakfast, though almost similar each day, was delicious and satisfying. The pool was pristine, and although the walk to the beach and restaurants took about 20 minutes, it was ok. The bus stop, just a 3-minute walk from Margarenia, made it easy to travel to Fira, though renting a car might be more convenient due to the unreliability of the bus schedule. The staff at reception and breakfast were exceptionally kind and attentive, enhancing our overall experience.

To be honest, I liked everything and would stay at Margarenia again.

We stayed at this resort for 5 nights and it was an excellent experience. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. Our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight for check in and the lady at reception, Angela, was waiting for us with a big smile. We had booked split level apartment and it was very clean and there was a lot of space. The apartment also had 3 balconies with amazing views. The apartment was cleaned every day and towels and bed linen were changed. The breakfast was complementary and there were lots of choices if you are a vegetarian. Ample parking space if you hire a car Swimming pool was very clean and t Swimming towels were provided on request. Thank you Angela and Margarita for making our stay perfect.

There is nothing there to not like.

Margarita the host was amazing, she was so knowledgeable and kind recommending a vast array of places to eat and things to do on the island with insider tips! The pool was big and plenty of sun loungers and our room (studio apartment) was spacious and had everything we needed for the week with daily maid service (she was very thorough) the property was a 5 minute walk to the beach however the roads are slightly unnerving as no pavements and fast cars so we drove on a few occasions! Lovely bakeries close by and plenty of super markets to choose from! Our stay was fantastic. Thank you again margarita and your team!!
