Very cozy, yet spacious enough, well-furnished cabin. Loved the big porch in front, with plenty of furniture, benches, and outdoor storage space. The food in the cafe/restaurant was really good and inexpensive. Best surprise was the super fun waterpark right next to the cabins. We spent an entire day playing on every ride, game, water slide, and also did the top-notch ropes course in the trees. My two teens (14, 18) and both parents found plenty to do in the park. We also enjoyed renting tennis rackets/balls to play on the court right next to the cottages.

Our cottage smelled like dog, and the bedding and floormats were covered with pet hair. We used the vacuum cleaner to clean all the surfaces shortly after arriving. There was clearly no attempt to clean the previous renter's pet hair. If you have pet allergies, it might be difficult to stay here.

We were made very welcome and the chalet conformed to the description. No bad surprises. The chalet was spacious, heated before our arrival and the fireplace allowed us to spend good times inside even though it was -25 outside. The sauna in the chalet was a real plus too. Very close to the lake, the snowshoe or Nordic ski trails, it is a perfect location which gives the feeling of being in the heart of nature while being in the immediate vicinity of a clear traffic route, which is not negligible in extreme cold. I think we will come back if the opportunity arises.

We stayed in a cabin here. They are also all owned by individual owners so the exact furnishing and presentation can vary. Ours had good furniture and furnishings and was very clean and tidy inside. It had excellent air con for summer as well as the fireplace for winter plus the private sauna and a large outdoor balcony which was great for meals or drinks and relaxing. Bathroom was a bit old but functional. Kitchen was quite modern and new. The resort is lakeside so there are plenty of places to swim with local walks and bike rides so you don’t need to use your car all the time to do things. Staff were super helpful. It was quiet but we weren’t near the main road and our cabin had its’ own internet connection which was great. A great place to stay. Recommended.

We made the mistake of thinking the cabin was free standing when in fact all of them are either semi detached or terraced as far as we could see.

The location was perfect, close to the road and close to the lake. The house was big enough for 2 couples. It has sauna with electrical heater and full kitchen with living room. There was nice balcony with electrical barbeque at the front of the house.

Well, we expected the house to be closer to the waterfront, in reality it is away appr 100m. One bedroom in the house has no windows, it lacked a bit air.

Amazing place to get together with group of friends (30 of us had stayed for 3 nights) in a quiet beautiful surroundings of the lake, pine forest, and plenty of things to do. Helpful and friendly staff supervised by the owner able to accommodate any requests in a timely manner 10 out of 10

Thank you for a great holiday. The cottage had a great view of the lake. The house was fully stocked with dishes and kitchenware. Excellent internet. Everything was very convenient. We felt like we were at our own home.

No disadvantages.

The cottage and its location were better than expected. There was a private jetty to this cottage, which was accessible, although the bank to the shoreline was a bit steep. (Ask for a lakeside cottage when booking!). The lake is clean and one of the best swims in Finland! Sauna and the shower room were very fresh, as was the whole cottage. Well equipped kitchenette with a fridge and a small freezer compartment. Could have stayed longer!

The only minor negative issue was with the space for a double bed. You can only access the double bed from one side, if you push the bed against the wall and use a stool for a night stand, (for phone, glasses, etc.) There were no bedside tables there. For flexible, younger people this would not be a problem, to get out of the bed without climbing over the another sleeper. Perhaps a little shelf in the headboard would solve this problem.

The cabins were very nice, the distance to the lake short (although we could have been closer), the staff was friendly and available to fix any problems.

The location was very good but the weather could have been somewhat better throughout -- but not your fault.

Very quiet and scenic location. The accommodation was clean, warm and cozy. Upon emergency we were allowed to check in slightly later, the staff was very comprehensive.

Tidy, modern, maintained well with plenty of recreational things to do and good restaurant/bar. Four EV charging points. Good sauna. Large area to walk or cycle. Good place for kids. Effective air conditioning. Short distance from the Vanha Punkaharju Hotel.

Air pump cooling system was a little noisy. Was unable to switch it off. Seemed the remote off button did not turn the device off.
