Naaranlahti was a wonderful place to enjoy the Lake Saimaa district. We stayed in two connected guest rooms (there are also beautiful summer cottages available) which was very comfortable option for my family. The whole setting of the resort is beautiful on the lakeside with a little beach and crystal clear lake water. Best part of our stay were the activities: I rented a kayak and paddled to the fantastic Petri Island and with the family we rented a motor boat and explored the lake even further driving all the way to the biggest wooden church in the world (Kerimäki Church), the mysterious Hytermä Island and the little paradise island Eevansaari with its pretty sandbar perfect for swimming. I even snorkled on the waters of the island and saw a lots of fish.

The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good – nothing too fancy, but it worked really well for a cozy place like this. Same with the room – a little outdated but nice and clean, so no complaints there! Beach and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful!

The door to the room could have been easily unlocked by anyone, but luckily being in the countryside in Finland, that wasn't too much of a worry. Towels were faaaaar from soft.

Nice lakeside place to stay for those who like nature and forest cabins. The garden is beautiful, the breakfast is also good.

The rooms should be renovated, but were absolutely clean. The fridge was a little bit loud at night.

Lovely location by the lake, very nice breakfast. Was quiet and peaceful when we visited.

Room was quite basic for the price. Narrow beds, no darkening curtains at all which wasn’t great in the light Finnish summer. Sauna a bit expensive.

The place was amazing. At first we thought it would be boring, but the longer we stayed, the better we enjoyed the stay. And the view from our cottage is amazing. We would definitely stay longer next time.

Very nice place near a lake. Quiet place. The Owner was very nice and prepared something to eat even if I arrived late in the evening.

Beautiful location on sparkling clear Lake Puruvesi. Very good breakfast with 4 grain oatmeal, cold meat, fish, cheese, breads, fresh fruit, etc. Wonderful old fashioned wood burning sauna 10 meters to the stunning lake with dock and sand beach. Welcoming and accommodating hosts. Excellent home cooked meal in evening on request. Comfortable clean 2 bedroom room with common area and small kitchen. Plenty of activities for children including horses and other farm animals. Would like to return with grandkids.

Good way to get away form the loud city, and have a peacfull stay.

The site is very attractive. Facilities are great. Unobtrusive and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and a reasonably priced three course meal available in the evening. Be sure to order the day before! The map available in the main building shows local footpaths and this really helped us get about and see the nearby fields and forest. Lovely spot.
