Beautiful location, tranquillity, fabulous room, cleanliness, eye-pleasing design, exquisite dinner of local fish, great views of the river and city lights on a darkening snowy winter's day, topped by the spa, a relaxing dip in the pool and heat of the sauna.

Upon arrival, vehicle access is limited, but luckily, there's plenty of parking space in the huge lot over the road.

- Location, only few minute walk to the center, Olavinlinna and the nature around is pretty. - Breakfast was good and dinner at the restaurant was really tasty - Indoor pool added more to our stay - Air conditioning in the room

- Everything worked and we had a great stay but the hotel is getting a little outdated.

The location was excellent. Easy walking distance of the train station. The setting is spectacular, I found the room spacious, and the staff were very helpful, and went the extra mile to help me out.

I would say that the hotel exterior needs a facelift, it looks dated, and cold. Also the carpeting in the corridors appears to be from the 1980s, and could do with replacing. Price point was a little high for the off-season.

I love that there is a pet friendly Spa Hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The spa area was not huge, but there was a nice little pool, whirlpool and sauna. The breakfast was very nice! The location is good, close to the city center but you can have nice walks in the area.

Hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of Savonlinna centre. The staff were helpful and friendly and we had a lovely lake view

Property was a bit ‘sixties’ in its look and the rooms basic but clean.

The breakfast is excellent, and also the dinner that we had at the restaurant. The room was big and clean, with very nice views to the lake. Great location.

The swimming-pool is not always open.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the railway station and the city center. The room was very spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful view over the lake. The bathroom was properly renovated. Breakfast was good. The ladies at the front desk were very nice to me. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was just perfect for our small group of three friends.

We had a limited choice of breakfast items. We wish that the staff would be more active in checking the breakfast table.

Large and comfortable room with view on the lake. Excellent shower. Great buffet style breakfast.

The bar and restaurant have an outdated (seventies) style, but that is part of the charm of this hotel.
