We had a wonderful and super relaxing holiday thanks to calamos beach family club members. From the receptionists till the cleaning team everyone is very welcoming and friendly. They make sure that you have a nice time there, always available for inquiries and questions. I would like to thank especially to Roberto, he is an awesome host and his positive attitude is contagious. The private beach is free, super clean, and even though it is rocky, the rocks are not sharp that would cause cuts or injuries. The sea is so clean that you can see the bottom from above. Food options were limited especially for desserts but really tasty fruits were always present which we really appreciated. Also, animation team really deserves an applause because they were really making the guests have a good time throughout the day. The massage service is really affordable with lots of options and we were really relaxed after the one we got. Overall, we had a great time there and would certainly recommend to the families, and to those who are simply looking for a nice place to relax.

I believe since its a beach hotel, the room cleaning service should be daily instead of once every 2 days. The food options could be expended too. Although non of these are drastic, i think it could improve the guest experience.

A perfect place if you’re looking for a simple and relaxed holiday. We were tired of the wet weather in Ireland and didn’t want to go to all the hot spots in Spain or Portugal, we just wanted a place where we could sit and relax with our 11 months old baby, doing nothing all day and not worrying about outfits and stuff, Calamos Beach Family Club is the perfect place for that! We felt comfortable, safe, enjoyed the amenities very much, the kid’s pool was excellent and the food was delicious!

The room was good, nice space, but the bathroom was horrible! If you are a person like me, who enjoys a good shower after a day in the beach/pool, don’t expect to do that in the hotel. Bathroom was small, the finishes were atrocious, bathtub was stained, which looked like dirt, so not the nicest for a relaxing shower, or to shower a baby.

The staff was very friendly, we even received an upgrade to sea view instead of mountain view due to availablility during pre-season. The hotel is directly at the beach and has it's own private beach (which is relatively small compared to the size of the hotel, but considering the pool and sunbeds at the pool it might still be sufficient). Quality of the dinner was according to the low price we paid for all inclusive, breakfast was better and offered not just eggs, sausages etc., but also tomatos, cucumbers, feta cheeese and fruits (to be fair dinner had the same. vegetables, feta and fruits). For one night everything was good, Iwe wouldn't spend a complete vacation.

The hotel was probably built in the 1970s or '80s. There was some renovation, but it still feels rather old.

The hotel is right on the beach. It has a beautifully maintained garden with plenty of olive trees, a nice swimming pool. The staff are friendly, speak English and French, available at any time. They have animators for children. The food is delicious and the food choice is good.

The food was nice overall.

There weren't enough chaise-longues on the beach for all the visitors. The fruit were always cut into pieces, there wasn't enough fish though. People smoked everywhere on the territory, there could have been more notices regarding it. One more thing is that there was almost no evening entertainment, just one Greek dancing night near the pool bar, only one mini disco for kids, the kids club has one animator only and the entertainment program seems rather vapid, to be honest, it could definitely be improved.

The hotel itself and the room was good and nice. Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. Very big thanks for them. The hotel has beach and pool which are nice. Unfortunatelly the pool is closed from 6 p.m. which is too early I think. Room was clean but bathroom was dirty when we arrived. All together we spent a good time here except that we theoratically couldn't eat too much at an all inclusive service.

We had confirmation for gluten and lactose free food. This is why we booked this hotel. BUT they couldn't give any gluten nor lactose free food.

Staff is what makes this hotel a " I will come back again and again" hotel. Especially Stavroula and reception team, Dimitra in the restaurant and team, and the very affable and ever-present manager Roberto! Ok - the facilities need an urgent upgrade but I understand the hotel is rented and it is as clean and maintained as a 1970's structure that has not been seriously updated, can be. I travelled with my 95 year old mother who is a wheelchair user. Although key parts of the hotel were inaccesible to her and me as her also disabled carer, staff tried their best to help us access services and areas we needed where they could/it was safe to do so.

There MUST be a solution to allow wheelchair users to access the dining room. I believe the current arrangement is at best illegal and at worst very dangerous. There is a lift that can take wheelchair users to the dining room but it is decommissioned .So access is via a very dangerous and prohibitively steep "ramp" that does not even have guards on either side. The ramp leading to the pool area is more accessible and slightly "safer" but one needs two people to lift the chair over a gap at the top and then again at the end of the ramp. NOT IDEAL, dangerous, and if this were in the UK (for example ) it would be illegal both under Equality as well as H&S law.

I rate it 10 points because there are no more to give. Four stays followed by a fifth booking. Fantastic holidays, very friendly staff. We felt like in family, with a 10-star welcome, especially from Eleni. Three stars are too few for this hotel, knowing it deserves at least four stars for its quality. The pool is very clean, with someone (pool guard) always taking care of the guests. The bar stays open past midnight with music, entertainment, etc. The girls of the bar are friendly with us and play many Albanian Music The bar staff are excellent. The food and cooking are very good and plentiful. No surprise with foods.The girl at the Kids Club took great care of the children. In the morning, aerobics for those who wish. Pleasure to return again next year. No insect,no allergy, no food poisoning or other unwanted situation. I Booked 5 times Calamos this year for me and Friends. The last amazing thing is that you can see the sunrise from the right of balcony or garden. And the sunset from the left of balcony or garden. Who want Vocations,Holiday, Relaxing and quite place . This is for you don't think it twice, book now. I feel honored with our Greek neighbors.

Really wonderful helpful friendly staff in reception and dining room! Beautiful views from the rooms, looking over the pool, sea and distant mountains. The room was quite spacious. Spacious public areas including pool and bar area, covered verandah with seating, and lounge areas inside. The buffet for all meals was more than adequate. Table tennis table, snooker table, play areas for kids - makes it ideal for families. Parking seemed adequate for the size of the hotel.

The hotel rooms are looking a bit tired and bland, and especially the hallway they open from. (Feels like a school dorm hallway) A few things you would expect, were lacking (No hair-dryer, no handsoap in bathroom) The food in the buffet was a bit hit and miss. Hot dishes were sometimes barely lukewarm. Other times - nice and hot. Small kids should not be dishing up their own food. Little hands grabbing things without tongs is not healthy. Noise from lift and people yelling in hall. Soundproofing could be better.
