the location is perfect, we had a wonderful dinner at the hotel, sat outside of the restaurant, we could hear see the sea and hear the sound of the sea, the food was excellent as we have ordered fresh fish. the staff is very polite and helpful. the hotel is just near the beach and the sea water is very nice. for sure we will go back soon. we also liked the fact that it was so quiet. no music playing, which made our stay even more relaxing. so quiet and so relaxing.

everything was perfect, i believe that the breakfast needs to be upgrade. some seasonal fruits for the breakfast would be a great idea

The beds were great and breakfast had everything needed. The place was quietly located in the middle of a tidy village with a small beach. With a car there are further beach and hiking options within 30 minutes drive away. The beach, although small, is right in front of the terrace of the hotel and you can have breakfast watching boats going in and out around the harbour.

The village is small and offered two shops locally. You need a car to get there as it involves going through mountain roads from the south to avoid going across the border. It is quiet and would suit people wanting peace and not a busy place to holiday away from more touristed areas.

- The hotel is directly on the sea so you can easily swim or just enjoy the views. I had a sea view apartment and it was well worth the small price difference. - The rooms are clean and obviously renovated. The bed is very comfortable.

- There was a smell of sewage in the parking area that came up to the verandah and rooms, particularly those on the first floor. At times there was a bad smell coming from the port. - The lady at the reception could be quite abrupt. - Breakfast was basic but what surprised me was that instead of having toasters they would fill a bread box with toast at 7:30 when it opened! Some fruit would be a good addition.

Very friendly, family owned hotel where owners are happy to cater to their guests' needs. Beds are comfortable, great sea views, generally a place to get away from everything but still be in touch with the world. I would recommend it all year round. The restaurant staff was fast and took care of us even when very busy. Thank you, Demetris, for your excellent service. The food was tasty and fresh. The breakfast was very satisfying too. The fridge door needs to stay open when not in use to avoid any smells. Other than that, everything was fine.

Very nice family hotel. You need to be mindful what to expect - it’s not 5 starts standards but rather sincere hospitality. The location is perfect -just by the seaside, nice sea views and you can hear it while sleeping. The repairs is fresh despite the age of hotel, it’s great that they develop and stay up to date. The food is very nice - only Cypriot home made dishes. Perfect value for money.

Nothing really. I would add probably some spa facilities - like they could hire also massage therapist and invest in some sauna :) just to have more relax options for guests.

This is an amazing place right on the beach A very peaceful hotel with amazing staff who are friendly and helpful will do anything for you We love the breakfast it was served at out table by the granddaughter of the owner.. She's lovely Lunch and dinner is cooked by the owner all freshly prepared and very tasty

There isn't anything not to like

Tylos beach hotel is in a wonderful, peaceful location, with the beach and a safe harbour literally on your doorstep! For a short, chilled out, break you really don't need to go far although there are a few good bars and restaurants nearby. The hotels food was very good and reasonably priced and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel has been recently refurbished with new bathrooms ect and is immaculately clean . I am booking to return in September.

Breakfast was adequate although minimal but the coffee in the machine was good. I can't think of anything else we didn't like.

Total gem, old fashioned style of hotel polite staff, lovely lady in charge, amazing location. KP is remote it takes about 2 hours to drive from Paphos but it’s well worth it. KP has been stranded by the Turkish invasion of 1974, it used to be a fairly short journey from Nicosia via Morphou, which can’t be carried out with a hire car. Break with the normal 14 days around the pool, go and see a different Cyprus stay here for two or three days, there is no pool but it’s on a beach. The rooms are clean, recently renovated, the shower was awesome, the bed comfortable, the a/c worked well, there was a great Cyprus breakfast of tomatoes, cheese, ham bread and coffee. The evening meal was superb, you will not believe the depth of colour of the locally produced olive oil on the salad!

As a family run hotel, staff will go out of its way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. They treat you with the well known Cyprus hospitality that is so rare nowadays.

As the hotel is very popular with locals and their families , foreigners may find Cypriots a bit loud and their children spoilt or lacking manners.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Loved that the hotel was beside a beach and there were facilities to shower and wash the sand off before re-entering the hotel. Food was very good, even for a vegetarian.

The fridge, which was hidden in the wardrobe, did not work. We discovered the problem was with the socket and not the fridge so we moved it out of the wardrobe. When we mentioned this on checkout we were told that all wardrobe sockets are turned off out of season.
