The staff were terrific, my room was very quiet after about 9:00 pm. The building is a former hacienda eith an inner courtyard so not a modern motel cube. Breakfast was eggs, fruit, yoghurt, bread, which was good for me. The posada is just over two blocks away from the airport tram stop and close to restaurants.

Its riad style with patio and inner courtyard can be uncomofortable at times. It can get a little noisy if there's a lot of people at the tables downstairs. Also, people walking by your room - you will hear that.

It was conveniently located not far from the city centre but away from the hustle and bustle. It was clean and comfortable, nice hot showers and you can refill your water bottles at anytime. Breakfast was fresh and ample, nothing too fancy but totally adequate. The services are fantastic, all the staff are friendly and ready to help. Oh, there’s an ATM just outside the hotel which is very convenient.

Not much sound proof, someone was watching tv somewhere and we could hear it well into the night.

The breakfast was very good, with quality coffee and a lovely setting in the indoor patio with lots of curios and plants. This hotel has a superb location in the heart of the historic center, a short walk from the main monuments, Parque Calderon and all the streets with great shopping.

I discovered that all the rooms overlook the two patios and the restaurant. For those which do not have balconies overlooking the street (but the street is busy), there is too little fresh air coming in from the glass dome. The restaurant can be noisy. But it is the hotel configuration.

I stayed at Posada del Angel for four nights and was really impressed. My room was spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent, tea and coffee are a available throughout the day (if the pots are unplugged and the water / coffee cold, you can ask at reception and they will kindly change that), and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The reception staff also speak English. The location is great, at the edge of the historic centre in east walking distance to the sites. There is a tram stop a block away for a cheap and easy connection to the bus terminal.

With the windows of my room facing the inner covered courtyard, which has restaurant tables, it could be a bit noisy in the evenings, but not a big deal.

It was so nice to arrive in Cuenca, at this cute guesthouse. It was the first time within almost two weeks that we’d had some luxury. Great and plentiful breakfast, friendly staff, fabulous location, where we felt very safe.

The breakfast and the food through the Italian restaurant were exceptional. The employee named Rodrigo was especially attentive and ensured that all our needs were met. The staff is incredible and do an excellent job to make their guests feel comfortable and safe. The decor and ambiance are wonderful. We will come back because we loved the comfort, the quiet, and the location. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom had all the amenities including lots of hot water.

What a charming and atmospheric hotel! Would love to stay there longer, as we did only one overnight stay. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay so much. Location is perfect, exterior and interior of the hotel is wonderful and authentic. Inside courtyard is very nice.

I loved this hotel. The location was perfect. It is a very charming, beautifully decorated place. The breakfast was very good including, fresh fruit, granola and yogurt, eggs and bread, coffee and juice. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. The price was inexpensive. I would highly recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family.
