The property is made up of different adjoining buildings, it’s very quirky and rustic. My favourite thing was the outdoor shower in my rooms courtyard. It has a small pool surrounded by a large pond and trees. Other facilities are bbq area covered parking areas and electric gate. The hosts are what makes this place tick, they treat you like an extension of their family. They ask you what you would like for breakfast, it’s polite to say - what you don’t eat and the be treated to something new and interesting every morning. It’s a personal service here NO corporate company will match their love and support.

Felt like an authentic african lodge. Very comfortable twin suite was private courtyard with outside shower. Has a wonderful oval bath inside the room and I had two leisurely baths looking out onto the courtyard while it rained gently. Lovely pool in the main garden. Susan and Richard were excellent hosts. There is a boma if you want to braai and chill in the evenings and a great Texas BBQ place: Smoke and Fire about 10 mins away

We had the most incredible stay at this lovely establishment❤️ Susan and her hubby are the sweetest people and really went above and beyond for us. We felt like we were home and honestly didn't really want to leave. The fluffy omlette we had for breakfast was to die for and the beds.. Wow.. Possibly the best night's sleep I have had in awhile and that was a general feeling between all of our group who stayed. Waking up to birds chirping and fresh air was exactly what we needed. Susan made sure we had hot water even during loadshedding by boiling us water on gas and delivering it in a flask to our room, we also had rechargeable lamps during load shedding that really made a huge difference. Susan.. We are so grateful for you and your kindness! My only complaint is that we don't live closer so we could visit more often 😢

Great location and the rooms are in a lovely setting. The outside shower was great idea and the rooms well equipped and clean and comfortable. Highlight is your wonderful hosts who are super friendly very welcoming and make you feel relaxed and at home. Garden is a great place to chill and relax if you have just come off a long flight!

Nothing to do with the property but the road outside is a little rough well we thought so until we got to Kruger!!

Susan and Richard super friendly. I had an unexpected travel to Joburg and landed very early in the morning. Susan's flexibility allowed me to get an early check-in and recover after an overnight flight. Richard is a superb cook and every meal was a little taste of home. The location looks far on the map but its only 10minutes away from OR Tambo, and the green lawns and quiet atmosphere allow you to really recharge after a hectic journey. I spent two days here and really enjoyed it. Excellent value for me, would definitely stay again.

Everything was fabulous. Outdoor showers might not be for everyone - I liked it.

Location was perfect. Out of the way but not too far that we couldn't access all the facilities we needed. Hosts were amazing and so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We were treated like family and were sad to leave. I would recommend them very highly, you won't be disappointed. Just hope the rest of our trip meets these high standards.

The cleanliness and unique design of the rooms (outdoor shower, and unique bathtub). The other facilities were also great and the host Susan is very helpful. We unfortunately left a pair of shoes but were able to get it back with her help.

The cosy setting and idyllic surrounds, was food for the soul. No disturbances whatsoever. The host was most gracious and helpful. An ideal getaway for those wanting to get rid of stress in their lives. Loved the ethnic decor that blended so well with the environment.

There was nothing that really dissatisfied me. Shower was a bit problematic and that was immediately sorted.

The hosts, they go out of their way to assist, help and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The shower is excellent! Their food is delicious!

Unfortunately we do have back and hip problems, so one must take that in account, but our bed were a little bit uncomfortable.

The accommodation was relaxing and in general was a amazing experience, Susan will go out of her way to make sure you are comfortable.

The road getting there is rather bad but it didn't bother us, would just recommend to people in very low cars to be careful.
