Convenient for Kosciusko and the mountains. Very clean and modern bathroom block with excellent shower. Reasonable amount of equipment in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable.

Inside was obviously refurbished but outside deck and surrounds very unkempt. Fire places not in a good place and dirty. No chairs to sit outside so as we weren’t camping we were confined to inside. The bunk beds had not so lovely plastic mattresses. Having to pay very expensive rates for wifi as there was no network availability even for Telstra. Not very friendly staff.

I stayed in November for some Spring hiking. The room was very cheap and I just needed a place to crash for 1 night so I didn’t have high expectations for what it would be like but I was absolutely thrilled with the quality on arrival. I stayed in the cedar cabin and although very simple and a little dated - it was cute, and exactly what was needed for a short stay, also very clean and well cared for. The amenities block was another surprise - relatively newly renovated and amazingly clean. Far nicer than most caravan / tourist parks I’ve stayed at before. For the cost, I was beyond happy and will definitely be staying here again. The site was perfectly positioned to nearby hike trails.

The location was amazing and around 15-20 mins drive from Perisher Valley. Good location, nice environment and rooms were small and cozy. Very friendly staff. It gives a very good feeling and away from city environment for a short holiday. Main kitchen with fire pit, bbq and toilets are short walking distance away from your place which seriously we enjoyed that walking during the dark. I highly recommend this if you are travelling with friends and want to have an amazing experience.

There was no such thing

Very tidy room and very reasonably priced (approx. $150), however i suspect in Winter these rates will be very different. The room had everything you would need for a peaceful weekend away.

The TV has no practical use unless you bring your own laptop or HDD with movies on it. Even free to air channels couldn't be watched and data was charged at a obscene price ($5 per 300Mb - which given the location was expected, but given you can get Starlink these days is unreasonable).

The cabin was perfectly surrounded by nature. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to enjoy ourselves a hot meal. The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. The management went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

The TV was small but who goes in the bush to watch TV - I enjoyed my beer with my own bush TV aka campfire. There was no wifi coverage in the bathroom but it must be because the cabin had Starlink and the bathrooms were a bit away from the cabin.

The unit was well designed, practical and warm. The location was unbeatable and the staff are absolutely so accommodating and helpful! We will definitely stay again! Also loved the drying cupboard for our snow gear.

The unit could do with a second toilet, however, the spa bath was a great way to relax after a day on the slopes.

Bathrooms were wonderful - heated floors and very updated amenities. Camp kitchen was large, enclosed and well stocked with a large indoor bbq hotplate that easily catered for our group of 14. The indoor wood heater in the camp kitchen was also well used, much nicer that sitting outside around a campfire in the cold evenings!

Not much privacy in the cabin as the double bed was in the main living area.

Everything It was 15 mins from jindabyne and perisher Valley. The room was beautiful and warm. The bathroom was spacious and very well designed. It had great space outdoors to do things. There was laundry facilities. Outdoor fire pits.

Nil best time

I liked the location, kitchen facilities and AC to keep warm, electricity. Animals around there, coming closer to people and very gentle, it’s nice.

Property doesn’t have enough space, toilet and bath room is little bit too far from the cabin.

Close to snow fields, good shower blocks, nice warm cabins, park is small and everything is close to cabin. Walking trails are close. Very quiet place.

Obviously night rates are a bit crazy for what you get but it's a season+location thing so not surprised. Cooking appliances are a bit weak (not sure why, probably due to basic gas systems). Simple dinner meal may take up to 1 hour to cook in winter (including communal kitchen ovens).
