The scenery was lovely, golf course was well maintained, wildlife was lovely and lively. Room was big and comfortable but not completed. EV charging stations was a big plus as was the walk to the tavern and little coffee shop down the road.

It was starting to show its age. A little TLC would bring it up a lot. Little things like cobwebs in the windows in the main breakfast restaurant, replace some decking, clean out the inside ponds and refresh with some plants and gold fish. Walk way is slippery especially on the steps, and looks all worn out. Finish the rooms so they are comfortable in all rooms. Golf course buggy path needs some work.

We did have such a lovely Christmas out at kooralbyn with our daughters, The swimming pools were the highlight for the trip, great for kids as there is the option for shallow then shallow that gradually gets deeper, warm spas, definitely is plenty to do water wise on a hot day and the water was perfect everyday, only thing that was a bit annoying was there was limited shade and it seemed people picked there seats and left all there towels and kids toys there all day and night so no one else could use those spots which was a bit unfair... there was great food buffets, and most definitely plenty to do for the whole family, it's just all depending if it's actually available to do or not. We didn't do golf as we had small children.

Only thing we would say is the gardens leading up to the tavern could do with a mow and tidy up, we unfortunately couldn't do, put put, lawn bowls (looked well overdue for a mow and put put course was destroyed) bird feeding like we thought we would be able to, but could feed the gold fish so that was good for the kids! Food was good quality we did go at the peak of Christmas so nothing was open which meant we did end up spending more on food then accommodation itself as you can't bring food to cook there. Apart from that we had a pair of dirty undies and socks in a drawn in our room that must of been from previous people to which our kids actually found so it was a bit off putting as to if the rooms are truly cleaned well.

A Memorable Stay at a Desert Oasis This hotel, located in a stunning desert oasis, offers a fantastic experience. The surrounding atmosphere is beautiful, creating a peaceful and serene escape. The staff, especially the receptionist, provided an incredibly warm and helpful welcome, making a wonderful first impression. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was impeccably clean, stylish, and spacious. The breakfast service was excellent, with delicious food that offered great value for money. The room was well-equipped, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We were thoroughly pleased with this experience and look forward to returning for a longer visit in the future!

Breakfast was fantastic! The pool and golf course were amazing. Access to kayaks. The kangaroo buggy tour but didn’t get to participate as it we had missed the Saturday night and only stayed one night. Pretty much a blokes retreat.

Very little shade at pool area, not many food options at pro shop other than sandwiches or pies. Incorrect information provided about markets on in Boonah on Sunday when they are actually on every 2nd n 4th Saturday of the month. 2hr n 15 min wait for food at the pub on the Saturday night.

The location, staff and the grounds of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant. Would highly recommend this hotel for a beautiful getaway from all the hustle and bustle of life. Truly a fantastic couple of days. I will definitely go back at the drop of a heartbeat.

Truly loved everything. From the friendly staff, clean large rooms, bathtub to relax and the grounds are amazing.

Great location with multiple facilities- there is something for everyone

I was very concerned by the content of the letter attached that we were provided at checkin. It suggested we would be rewarded if we gave a 10 review! This is very much against the principle of an honest review system and will result in misleading future guests.

Beautiful lush country with plenty of wildlife. Staff were really friendly and the rooms comfortable for a good sleep. Golf course is gorgeous for an afternoon hit and the mountain bike track is only a short ride down the road. Unreal spot if you’re keen on some outdoor sports or just relaxing in nature.

With just a little work, this place could have a few Reno’s and be so much more. It’s such an idyllic and peaceful spot but the building is aging.

Clean room that was well appointed. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room was a bit tired but still comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and the restaurant was fantastic- best steak I’ve had in a very long time!

Gardens and surrounds are very tired and need a good makeover. Repainting needed around the place but still a lovely place to stay.

We loved everything about the property. The staff were just so nice and though the property is an older establishment, we found it comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the Pavilion Tavern where we had a lovely meal. To have the courtesy bus pick us up from the resort and bring us back when we were ready was an added bonus. We stayed two nights. I wish it had been longer. We almost didn’t book because of a number of bad reviews. I’m happy we did book Kooralbyn.. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Isolation

Golf course need maintenance for the cart paths. This is a chronic problem. It detracts from the overall pleasure of being there. It is no small matter and a very expensive maintenance issue. Original choice of bitumen was a mistake for flood prone high rainfall region. Concrete would be ideal but very expensive. Even roadbase over the broken bitumen would be better and easily repaired.
