Comfy bed and shower had great water pressure and temperature. Restaurant connected to the hotel -has excellent, delicious pizzas, with really generous toppings. Both times we've stayed we've had them bought up as room service. Pretty quiet at night now there is the bypass of the highway. We stayed here previously and it will continue to be our preferred choice everytime we stop in Gympie.

No plates or cutlery. There is a microwave, kettle and toaster but can be tricky to use without utensils or plates. Has coffee cups and glasses and you are provided a couple of disposable tea spoons.

Wonderful little hotel. We loved our room. It was super comfy. Our room had an updated bathroom, a smart TV (with picture quality that made us realise we should probably replace our own at home). Set back off the main road in Gympie which is now significantly quieter with the Bruce Hwy bypass.( It's also across the road from Alford Park which has a lake with birds and 2.great kids playgrounds, one for littler kids.) Then hotel has a restaurant on site open most nights 6-8. We had room service, getting two of their pizzas which are 11 inches each and absolutely delicious, with very generous fillings. Slept like logs, even my 9 year old who is an early riser. We stayed one night only on our way through and would happily stay again for more nights.

We had an upstairs room which don't have their own undercover park and you park along the fence inside the hotel. It is still close to your room and the most minor of inconveniences. The room is also cheaper than the others and our rate was still excellent value for money. Also the two storey block is at the back of the property so it is nice and quiet! I would have liked some plates, and some cutlery other than a teaspoon as they do supply a toaster, Microwave and kettle, but again it was not a big deal for a one night stay.

We stayed here about 4 years ago on our way to fraser island completely unexpectedly, we just needed a bed to stop travelling for the day, the staff and food exceeded our expectations so when we went to fraser this year we actually booked here. It is an older hotel so don't expect modern rooms, but it is clean, comfortable and the staff bend over backwards for you, from what I understand, it is family run so the staffing is limited, but the food tastes great and makes you feel like you are getting a wholesome, home cooked meal made with love.

The beds were comfy. The fridge was a bit bigger than the basic bar fridge which was very useful. There was a toaster and microwave in the room. Air conditioning functioned well as it was quite hot when we stayed. Wifi worked well. Lots of bench space.

Sad that the cook was unavailable due to illness as we would have loved to try their restaurant.

Quiet location. Easy to get to. Loved that I could log into my own accounts on the smart TV!

Even though it was a non smoking room, having to walk past other rooms with ashtrays (therefore smelling the cigarette butts etc) was not great.

Great location, clean comfy beds & wonderful to be able to have our fur babies stay with us & the on site restaurant was fabulous

Only 1 flimsy blanket in the cupboard. We didn’t realise until after we’d showered & in pjs Having to turn aircon on at 3am because we were freezing.

Clean and accessible with restaurant facilities plus room service. Beds were comfy and location was what we needed. We only stayed one night as we were passing through and booked that same day. We also used the pet friendly rooms as we had furry family.

It suited our needs and we were happy.

Location next to the main road so didn't need to detour and plenty of room on the street for a long/high vehicle. It's what it says on the packaging, a comfortable motor inn

I got little bites (not bed bugs) on my legs and stomach. Not sure what they're from but definitely not bed bugs.

Warm welcome, good food and cold beers. The room was spacious and set out perfectly with armchairs provided for watching a decent size flat screen TV. The location was also perfect for pulling off the old highway and back on.

Friendly staff, quiet and large family room. Loved that we could order a nice home cooked meal to our room. Very convenient with kids, not having to drag them out for tea after a busy day.

I think the room could have been cleaner.
