The yurt was beautiful — spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed. It had all the comforts you could want, including, a kitchenette, and a really comfortable bed. Sitting on the deck with mountain and garden views was a real highlight — peaceful, quiet, and the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by nature, with plenty of space to relax. Even though I was only there overnight, it felt like a proper escape. Much more relaxing and memorable than a standard hotel stay. I’ll definitely be back — whether for business or just to take a proper break next time. Highly recommend it.

A spectacular location with the beautiful mountain backdrop, lake and trees, to greet you, upon entering the site. This was our first time in a yurt and we were so impressed with the cleanliness, comfort and setting. It was lovely waking to the sounds of many birds and to see wallabies in the retreat. There is no light pollution either, so we really enjoyed star gazing in the evening. This is truly a great location to explore the lovely hinterland towns and beaches of the Sunshine Coast and our wonderful hosts have created a very special place here.

Didn’t anticipate breakfast being provided so had brought my own. Although I didn’t take advantage of the provided breakfast there appeared to be a good range of products to choose from. Nick’s friendliness and willingness to go out of his way to ensure the comfort of his guests was very evident and appreciated.

The picture window was a little dirty. Because it rained so much throughout my stay the picture window was my only way of “being in the outdoors” so a clearer view of the visiting wildlife could have been better.

The yurt was absolutely beautiful! It was super comfortable and had incredible small touches - the hosts have really thought of everything. We were beyond impressed and didn’t want to leave. We stayed in Winter and weren’t cold at all, there’s plenty of heaters/hot water bottles/blankets etc available. The location is beautiful and so so peaceful. We loved our breakfast too, it was a really nice surprise! Nick went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had the perfect stay, which we really appreciated. I’m already trying to figure out when I can stay here again!!

Great relaxing getaway all the necessities are there for your stay (cooking facilities tv big comfy bed hot showers ..etc)light breakfast supplied nice bushwalking easy access to town the yurt you stay in is very cosy and well stocked the hosts are very accommodating…..we will definitely be staying again and staying during the midweek was not crowded and good value

We love the setting, looking at a beautiful mountain, woods, all around and waking up and finding kangaroos in the front yard. The yurt was larger than I expected, was warmer than expected, considering it was winter and kind of chilly outside at night had everything you could ask for. we stayed for two nights. The breakfast options left for us were more than sufficient and yummy. The place was extremely clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, it seems that these owners have actually stayed in one of their yurts and know what people want and need ( all owners should stay in their rentals!). Quality toiletries, left with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand, soap, fragrance for the bathroom. The under counter refrigerator was large enough to hold what we were traveling with, the two burner cooktop enough for what we were trying to cook while we were enjoying this atmosphere. The water was very quickly hot for washing and showering. The floors were wooden beautiful and very clean. The height of the ceiling made this place feel like a palace. we were extremely happy with this accommodation and highly recommend to anyone considering coming to the area. We are so happy we chose this away from the hustle and bustle of the town/city considering wherever you go in this area you’re gonna drive anyway, so why not be in this beautiful setting .

We didn’t love the chairs that were provided for evening time watching some TV. They were kind of like a giant foam beanbag style chair not very comfortable.

We had an excellent experience at the retreat! The yurt(we stayed in “yugen”) was clean and cozy, providing a perfect balance for the varying temperatures- with air conditioning during hot days and radiators to keep us warm on cooler nights. It truly felt like every detail was thoughtfully considered. The breakfast was simple, but satisfying with an amazing view over the mountains and seeing kangaroos jumping around up close. We will definitely return and highly recommend this resort!

Can’t think of anything

Noosa eco retreat is truly a piece of heaven. The yurts are so comfortable with absolutely everything you need (including all utensils in the kitchen, bbq, flashlight etc.). The owners have put a lot of care into utilising the space so well. The 2 nights we were there it rained over night, and it was so peaceful hearing the rain on the tent. We had a hard time deciding whether to go out and explore the area or simply stay cosy in the accommodation/have a picnic at one of the many spaces set up on site among the kangaroos. That said, the location is also fantastic: only a few minutes drive to the town where we had a lovely dinner our first night, and so close to spectacular walks. We climbed Mount Cooroora and got beautiful views, including a birds eye view of Noosa eco retreat. Another great find was the rock pools at Mount Mothar. Overall, couldn't recommend Noosa eco retreat more.

The yurt is so well equipped and comfortable. Everything is well maintained. It got very cold this winter but there’s enough heaters and doonas to spare. Woke up at sunrise to see Mt Cooroora in front of us and kangaroos around the compound. You can hear kookaburra, magpies etc. It’s quite close to Pomona town with a great distillery and few shops. Great stay and would totally come again.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay — the dome was cozy and beautifully set up, the peace and quiet of the surroundings were just what we needed, and the breakfast was delicious. The special birthday sign was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more memorable. Thank you Danae and Nick for create such a perfect place!
