What a perfectly placed guest house, right behind the shops of Hastings Street! We could walk from our door to the beach in less than 250 steps, which made this venue perfect for our family. The inside has been modestly renovated and each room includes air conditioning, fan and TV. The family room/dinner opens out to a great deck for alfresco dinners. Thankfully, no mosquitoes or midges made our evenings beautiful. The beds are all comfy and the hot water is great. King size bed in the main room; twin singles in the second; and downstairs (entry level) there is a fold out lounge, additional bathroom/shower with the washing machine, sink and dryer. The property is managed by Accommodation Noosa, and these wonderful ladies made our check in process effortless! They also organised for a late checkout and to post home a forgotten item of clothing. We didn’t use the onsite pool, but we heard the delightful giggles of other guests and their children enjoying it.

Very little tbh. There are stairs from the front door to the kitchen/living areas and then again to the bedrooms. This may be an issue for some guests, but the owners have installed handrails which make it easier. A HUGE suitcase might be a little difficult, but really, it’s not a big deal. There are some renovations happening on the other guesthouses on site during business hours. The tradies arrive early, but we’re very respectful with their noise knowing that a lot of families may still be asleep at 7am.

Well situated minutes from beach and shops

After booking found out that the one we booked was due for renovations this should have been flagged at the onset However I could have upgraded for another $150 but decided to stick with the booking as only 2 nights overall it wasn’t that bad just a bit tatty but this dose not mean it should be dirty The air con hadn’t seen a clean in god knows how long nor did the inside of the lamps. Towels stained Hopefully they will be more diligent with the cleaning of the refurbished houses as it’s a great place to stay

We loved our stay at The Hastings Beach House, the construction only caused a minor issue on our last day. Location was fabulous you were right on Hastings, but away from the hustle and bustle. The accomodation was very spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. Staff were great especially the lady on check in, we had a minor issue with our key and she quickly attended to it and sorted out the problem.

We loved it but if I had to pick something it would be the absence of S&P and oil, basics on arrival, we have had that at other places and it’s such a welcoming thing.

Quite noisy at night, especially as the house we stayed in was right near the access gate. Even with the windows closed we kept waking up to the beeping of the key pad as people were putting in the code to open the gate. Everything else was fantastic!

The location was great. Unit was clean with adequate crockery etc. liked that it was serviced. Liked the parking facility. Access via Hasting Street was easy. Liked the two bathrooms and two toilets. Bonus having a laundry with washing machine and drier.

House was dated but appeared to have been painted. Could not open the main window in main bedroom as broken as was one in the Lounge area. Carpet old and could be replaced. Shower head in en-suite bathroom poor.

The Beach Houses are excellently located, just off Hastings Street. Our beach house (superior two bedroom) - free-standing like the others - was well -furnished, well-equipped (particularly the kitchen) and clean, with covered parking at ground level. It had air-conditioning, but also ceiling fans and opening windows. It was serviced at the mid-point of our 8-night stay. We were given an early check-in, so we only had a short time to fill in between our flight arrival & drive up and being able to access the beach house.

Our beach house was one of those closest to Noosa Parade, so there was a fair bit of road noise when the windows were open. There was also 'party' noise on some evenings - shouting, drunken arguments etc - that seemed mostly to be coming from outside the property. And then there were the stairs - 4 narrow flights of them! However, we were expecting this (from the photos and information about each accommodation choice). And our suitcases are the type that convert to backpacks for such situations.

The blinds were see-through especially at night and kitchen blind at all. Big lack of privacy rennovations beside us for the pool and the apartment across from.us was hugely noisy. We were however warned about the noise. Overall not bad for price ....

The location of this property is absolutely ideal. If you don’t have a car, this property is right on Hastings St, a two minute walk to the beach. The beds are comfortable, the property was clean, and having 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms makes it extremely functional. We liked that you also have a laundry underneath your beach house, with washer and dryer. Added extras like 2 televisions and dishwasher, make for a very comfortable stay. Having reasonably priced accommodation situated so close to Hastings St, makes these holiday rentals super appealing, and we will be back.

The property we were in, could have had some more kitchen basics, like foil, cooking oil, salt,pepper etc. The building itself is looking a little tired and weathered, but it certainly didn’t affect us adversely in any way. A few more bathroom towels would be appreciated too…girls tend to use lots of towels!

Locality was great!

This photos were a little misleading- there were several cockroaches, in fact one crawled over my husband’s face in bed and woke him. It didn’t upset our trip but we killed several. The pull out sofa was no comfortable.

Great location easy access to Hastings St local shops, facilities and beach. All without having to take the car. Beachhouse had all amenities for a comfortable stay. Request for maintenance on external light actioned immediately.

These days I would have a preference for a stay with less stairs - not a big issue acknowledging this is a 3 story Beach house.
