The location and the staff were excellent. The room was lovely and very comfortable as well as clean on arrival.

The only thing I didn't like was the noise - would be good if the windows were double glazed. Quite noisy with young kids each morning who were also staying at the accommodation.

Saks was in the perfect location, on beautiful, vibrant Hastings Street but a little bit tucked away which was perfect. The beach was literally across the road and a huge choice of restaurants and cafes at the doorstep- couldn't be better!

Awesome location with nice big balcony to have a drink and people watch the lively Hastings street. Very close to everything- beach, restaurants etc. Pool was heated to a nice temp- lovely! Welcoming staff on arrival.

All the items in the info leaflet that could render a fine or extra fee if missed wasn’t exactly welcoming…was a bit paranoid leaving the place! Getting in and out of the parking spot underground was a bit scary in a bigger car (but at the same time great with parking space)! People should be aware of the stairs and the fact there is no lift.

The location is 15 out of 10 absolutely perfect. The veranda area and setting was great, all very comfortable apartment overall.

The room was very tired. The size of the apartment and bedrooms were great, it was very stuffy though the split system was good in the living area but needs more for the bedroom area. The toilet door handle is faulty nearly coming off. The bathroom needs work it needs a fan as the ventilation isn't good and there is lots of built up mould which isn't healthy.

Quiet end of Hastings St alone makes this an ideal location. The room was airy, bright and very clean. Easy access to Hastings St and the beach.

The only issue I had was the beds being quite hard. After 4 nights I woke up quite sore through my core and legs, which I have felt very rarely over the years with apartments and motels I have stayed in. Room 11. As a side issue the fridge door needed to be firmly shut otherwise it wouldnt close properly.

Location is amazing! Right next to everything Hastings street has to offer

All the rooms are of different quality but you pay the same. We had 4 rooms and they were different in terms of appearance( some recently renovated and some not) features (some with Netflix and some with nothing)

Nick at reception was very welcoming and helpful. Great car parking space underneath apartments. Apartment was spotless, very comfortable with good beds. We were upgraded to superior apartment which was a lovely surprise. Great location for shopping, restaurant and beach. Would definitely recommend!.

Nothing to dislike

Saks is in an excellent location for all my activities. Shopping, restraunts, beach and walking trails were just outside the door. Lots of beach gear available for guests to use or hire at leisure.

As the apartments were built in the 80s there is no elevator to the top floor apartments. However, it is wheelchair friendly! If not wanting to use the stairs, try to book apartments 1 to 4, as they are accessible by a ramp.

Location, location, location! Apartment had free parking (for visiting guests also) We loved being on the top floor of the front building overlooking Hastings St

Bring picking, it would be nice to have body wash in the shower and hand soap by the basin. We only had one liquid soap pump to service both areas. Would be helpful if guests could but toilet paper from reception

We were extremely happy with the unit, 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms. Kitchen had lots of crockery and cutlery. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were great. We were a family of 5 with 3 grown children and we had lots of space to spread out. Great position across the road from the beach and surf club. We would definitely stay at Saks again :)
