Great location with the river walk right opposite and lots of great coffee and dining options nearby. Our room had a river view which we enjoyed while having our morning coffee on the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed including pod coffee machine with pods and a milk frother and a multi function microwave/cooker. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is gorgeous with its stone tile and brass tap ware. The staff were so lovely and really helpful. We hope to be back sometime.

No door between main bedroom & living area for privacy, bright lights from cars crossing bridge into Noosaville - glare would beam into bedroom sometimes, interesting characters yelling & screaming as they walked across bridge from pub could hear arguments at night as they walked across bridge)

Absolutely everything! Hosts that actually introduce themselves to you,make sure you are happy with your accomodation and always helpful if you need anything. Apartment newly renovated, spotlessly clean, nothing lacking at all. Bed was super comfortable. Location was perfect, right opposite the river where you could walk to everything, coffee, food, groceries. I so want to go back there!!

Having to go home

The staff was so nice and friendly. They talked us through lots of recommendations of the local area. They provided free paddle boards to use on the river which was great fun. There was an Alexa, tea, coffee, water, cookies etc to enjoy in our room on arrival. We even locked ourselves out accidentally and they were able to provide a spare key instantly without any hassle or extra charge. Thank you for the Great stay, would definitely stay again

The property location was excellent, overlooking the Noosa River. There is a ferry which goes up and down the Noosa River and a pickup point just 2 minutes from the motel. The property is run by Jackie and Darren whose knowledge of the area is outstanding. Jackie recommended several excellent excursions (1) Everglades Eco tour, (2) Noosa Queen sunset cruise and (3) a visit to the Hinterland. Opposite the motel is the yacht club which overlooks the Noosa River and serves excellent food and drinks plus provides a lovely place to watch the sunset.

Pretty much no faults whatsoever.

Close to the water. Just over the road from the river. Has a pool and looked out over the canal and park as well. Easy walk to noosaville shops and noosa heads though at least 50 minutes. Buses able to be caught on the way if too far. Not a large taxi fare home either if the bus and ferry timetables don’t match. Be aware though, to ride the bus you need to have a Go Card. No other payment type accepted. Was good to be able to watch the Australian Open Tennis.

Not a fan of the wooden furniture but it was adequate and useful. An upgrade or reno’ on that would really make the place look that much more classy.

As soon as we arrived we were happy . Everything was lovely , The unit smelt divine , was spotless and furnished lovely . Comfortable bed and sparkling bathroom. The view was lovely from the living room and the addition of water and cookies was a treat ! The hosts ate just lovely and gave us some good tips to eat and visit . We will definitely be back . Thanks for a great stay .

Very clean and comfortable, amazing staff, beautiful apartment, fully equipped kitchen.

Just a minor detail that would not make a difference for a couple but it did for three people: The bedroom has no door and no aircon, and it was very hot at night. The aircon from the living room does not reach the bedroom despite having no door. Also, the person sleeping in the living room snored a lot, without a door, we couldn’t sleep properly… Other than that, the apartment is perfect. I highly recommend it for couples or couples with kids.

we loved staying at the Noosa sun Motel. The managers Jackie and Darren are excellent hosts and were extremely accommodating for our needs and let us swap rooms so we could have a view of the canal. We loved the fact that they have taken so much thought into the small details, from the loo rolls to the biscuits in the rooms. We loved the location across from the Yacht Club and a short stroll to lots of places to eat.... and far away from the maddening crowds on Hasting street ( where all the cafes and restaurants are expensive - you will find far better food and cheaper in Noosaville) If we visit Noosa again we will definitely stay at the Noosa Sun Motel

Noosa Sun Motel is located directly across from the Noosa River in Noosaville. Check-in was automated and easy to use as we arrived after hours. The property is family owned and run and the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly which made for a fabulous stay. Facilities were spotless, free washing machine and dryer for guests to use on-site, the pool area was small but tidy - although being winter I only dipped my feet in on one day! There were free SUP available for use although we ran out of time to try them! The owner even did a thorough clean and linen refresh for our apartment mid-way through our stay which was wonderful but completely unexpected as there is usually no clean mid-stay at other motels I've stayed at! There were a number of restaurants easy walking distance from the motel, including the Boathouse for sunset drinks overlooking the river, but it was far enough away that you didn't hear noise from the main shopping area. The boardwalks and park spaces on the river bank across the road made for a beautiful location and my daughter and I had a wonderful stay.

There was some traffic noise during the day as our apartment faced the river and therefore the main road in and out of Noosaville, but this noise died down early in the evening and never disturbed sleep. The property was located a fair distance out of Noosa and was a few kilometre walk to Hastings St and the main Noosa beach, taking us the better part of an hour each way, so it is easier if you have (or hired) a car to access Noosa easily, which we did. However, if you want a quieter stay a little out of the bustle of central Noosa, Noosa Sun Motel is perfect!
