Great facilities and fun for the family. Beautiful setting.

More isolated then I thought it would be!! My mistake. Bar and restaurant closed early

It was great for a relaxing stay. Nice and quiet and a tranquil location. I also liked that it wasn’t overcrowded with heaps of cabins. Our meal at the restaurant was lovely. The beds were comfortable. The wildlife.

There was no railing to hang onto to get in and out of the pool. The showers and bathroom could do with an upgrade. Nothing flash, just a freshen up.

I loved the location, it was quiet and surrounded by trees and nature and the beautiful beach and lake .I like the restaurant and cafe. I love how there was kangaroos. It's nice to sit in the pool surrounded by nature.very peaceful quiet and lots of trees.perfect.

My room had no aircon .just a fan. I was comfortable, just thinking in summer , another fan would help at least?

The complex was great, we stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin which was great, lovely, tidy, comfy beds, had everything we needed, loved the location and wildlife around us.

The Ferry ride over to the island coat $15 each way, was really expensive and added an extra expense especially when staying a few nights and going to do activities off the island added extra costs not planned for.

We spent the weekend here as a boys trip with all of our kids. We upgraded to a room w aircon - a good move as the weather was steamy. Considering the price this place is epic...! For shorter trips when you need a proper relax, hang out and recharge. If it's a simple, clean and well appointed room with ample natural grounds for kids and adults to play, putt putt, swim, bounce, bbq or you're requiring pub eats, then look no further... the best bit is no mad camping pack down and sweat fest sunday morning (plus the brownie points scored with our wives), just a cruisy drive up to D.I. for lunch and a swim. Thanks for having us! We'll definitely be back!

The glamping was well appointed and very peaceful.

We were at the end of the low season and resort facilities were not available or operated at reduced times as what was offered on the website.

This isn’t the Grand Hyatt, it is cabin accommodation, so don’t expect a concierge and beauty spa but we had a family Christmas at the venue and everything was wonderful. We had kids from toddler age to late teens and there was something for everyone to do. The pool the playground and bounce were a hit with the younger kids and Casper took the older kids for Laser Tag which went really well, and they loved the games room. All ages enjoyed the Putt Putt but please close hole 16, it beat us all. The BBQ areas were well maintained and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was good and the staff friendly. Phone reception was patchy and there was no wi-fi at the cabin, which in the beginning had the teens screaming in horror, but it meant at night we played board games and ‘gasp’ sat and talked. There was wildlife, kangaroos, goannas, possums and birds. The beach was beautiful and the lake close by. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with the family.

We didn’t stay long enough.

So much to do for the kids, meals at the pub were great, great friendly staff, great size rooms kids loved the bunk beds.

Only thing we didn't like was the pressure of the shower was very soft and slow and no shower screen protection not great with kids.

Long time visitor and this place is still 'at one with nature', grandkids loved kangaroos, goannas, birds, swimming, giant pillow, room to run around, meal at the hotel. Excellent frying pan in cottage 17 and great location near pool and roo grazing area. I would love to have future family summer gatherings here.

Cottage bedrooms get hot with the doors closed, ok for a family that can leave them open.

I had read the reviews prior so I was a little nervous. But it was amazing! The money spent for an entire weekend away with the family...the kids had a separate bedroom. I made sure to get the AC for the littles, being winter and we were extremely comfortable. People want more updated....pay the triple amount this was and you will have your perfect space. But this was well worth the money, we absolutely LOVED crossing the ferry!! We woke up to the beach being front out our door. Bush turkeys and kookaburras the wild life is insane and beautiful to wake up to as well. Recommend getting a cabin with AC and your not next to other apartments.

The road to the cabin but we didn’t mind either just got to take your time and drive slow. And to the beach was actually private property so no entry. But again we didn’t mind cause the beach was only a few minutes from the resort anyways.
