The hotel was very welcoming, in a quiet suburb, about 20 minutes walk from the local station of Tata and the hotel had a late-check-in policy, which really helped. I was given a quiet room in the attic which had air conditioning (this was a great relief from the heat outside). Excellent value for money, complimentary water, fridge in room (was an excellent addition to the room) and it was spotlessly clean. I did not find the language to be a barrier during my stay and the Hungarian breakfast was awesome. Would I stay here again? Most definitely.

Some of the guests were noisy and there were ants crawling over the breakfast tables outside. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is cute with vintage objects and lot of paintings. Our room had a balcony, mini refrigerator, water boiler and microwave. The location at the entry of the English garden was quiet. We could use bikes for free to explore the town and drive around the lake. The staff was friendly.

The hotel had different offerings every breakfast and the second day there were no Omelett or hard boiled egg, or gluten free muesli for my husband.

Very nice and quiet hotel to stay. Located between the two lakes of Tata. The fridge in the room comes handy in hot summer days. A supermarket is a five minute walk away. Nice staff, good breakfast. Tata is really beautiful place in Hungary that's worth to visit.

Breakfast - self service, location of the hotel. Near to the city centre, it is almost in the park.

WiFi not work in the second floor. It was problem with hot water, I waited several minutes and water is still not appropriate for shower.

This is a old hotel with some quirky but interesting decor. Friendly staff. Room was clean, comfortable and cover the basic needs for a stop. There was tea and coffee making facilities together with a microwave. It had a nice balcony overlooking what was once a water mill. There was a surprising selection for the buffet breakfast; both hot & cold foods.

No restaurant facilities. Some noise from groups of workmen who were staying at the hotel.
