The location in city centre was perfect. Main road out of town straight out of hotel and on the Mutare Road. Exercise/Health Suite was open 24/7. All equipment works, after-all some of the staff used it which is testimony to the services they provide. Often staff who work at a place shun using those very services they provide. Room service was also quite helpful, especially with the drinks choices. Gin with Indian Tonic water chased by a Zambezi Beer went down a treat. To make transactions easier, may I suggest opening a tab. Saves on fumbling for money. Ample parking space both in basement if you get there early or outside parking. I would also suggest an early morning walk around the streets before they become too busy. So much to see without human disruptions. Overall, enjoyed my stay. Oh swimming pool was out of service. But I was offered to be taken to another sister hotel. Just didn’t fancy the hassle of driving out for a swim.

First stay at Monos in 40 years. It has changed in as much as being tired, with aged facilities. Unfortunately there was a live music concert in the garden outside all rooms which meant that noise levels in the room were high, more so on the 14th floor. Despite this, hotel staff were excellent throughout. A very warm and friendly welcome followed by attentive and responsive service by Bruce, the Bell Boy, as an alternative quieter room was found on a lower floor. Room service was swift and food tasty. To summarise, a very old hotel desperately needing modernising. Staff work very hard to compensate and made the difference to make my stay a pleasant one.

The reception l got when checking inn it was. excellent the room service it was on point the waiters always good all friendly and smiling

Walking to have breakfast which l had paid for during checking as l reached for plate only to be embarrassed and be told l did not pay l was asked to go to the reception and they confirmed it was already paid no apology for the misunderstanding but seriously would someone just walking in and have free food were they are supposed to pay ?

The breakfast was good but too expensive ( value for money). The ala carte breakfast was a better option. The service by the waiters was great and efficient. The rooms were very good and spacious

The bathroom is squeezed. The number of towels provided should increase. We had only one towel for the two of us in the room Consider bed and breakfast packages. There is a noisy stage for the local transport with drug addicts near by

The room size, warmth, cleaning

Dust, rooms are cleaned everyday but dust settles in on furniture over night. The curtains coild do with some washing too One particular girl who served us tea on the Wednesday seminar was rude just because i did not know what Tanganda is and could not choose which tea i wanted. They should be made aware when serving a guest outside Zim

The hotel is very central. Service was impeccable. Food was great with a great spread for both breakfast and dinner. It has a spa and hairdresser on site, which was also convenient.

The rooms are a bit dated, with a need for a revamp. There was on set of lights in the room, so not possible to a dimmed option as you lay in bed before dosing off. No power points next to the bed either.

Good location for the city for our trip down memory lane. Helpful staff, easy underground secure parking. Great breakfast in a nice space.

Feeling a bit dated but not a problem. Harare City isn't such a great place to visit now, hectic traffic, broken pavements and dirty- bit still some standout areas and I'm glad we had a return visit to introduce the "kids" after 25 years

The total experience was just good from the booking, reception up to the stay. All was fine.

There was no air conditioning at all. Even if it's a standard room, an air conditioner or fan will suffice, but your room has nothing. In some three-star hotels, there are air conditioners or fans. This must be a basic facility for all, whether in a standard or executive room. There is a need for improvement there.

Great stay at the Monotapa Hotel, staff were super friendly and accommodating. Really, a great breakfast, freshly made omelette just the way I like them. loved having the option to eat downstairs or have it sent to our room. Thank you Monotapa for having us 🥰

The toilet flush wasn't great

The fact that when l found out that the room allocated was too far away from the elevator as l wasn't feeling too well they had no problem giving me a room just by the elevator which was very convenient

The pool was under revamping and ld booked this place so l could be able to use the pool so l was not too happy about that at all
