We had a lovely stay at Hotel de Vallee. The seafront rooms have a magical view, breakfast is great - lots of delicious Bordier products! - and the staff really friendly, professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the hotel bar. It is a perfect location to enjoy the seafront and Dinard town.

One of our party had a cold shower - but we were the first booking after the hotel reopened so this I'm sure will be easily fixed. Room on the small side but more than compensated by the beautiful view. Bar on the expensive side.

Tired bedroom & bathroom decor really in need of modernisation. No air-conditioning or double glazing. Would have appreciated proper china mugs/cups in bedroom rather than paper (bit naff) & a more generous tea selection. Drinks pricey.

Great location and view over to Saint Malo, waking up to the sound of waves outside was just magical. Staff were very friendly and professional. Room were clean with nice en-suite, double bed was big and comfortable.

The family room was a bit small for 4 - the children's beds were a small pull out affair and really for the money I would have expected two regular sized single beds.

Location quiet, short walk from central Dinard, room had wonderful view and breakfast was good. We also like to take a boat from the hotel to St Malo and spend a couple of hours there. There are regular boat services to various nearby towns and islands.

Hotel car park is small but we have stayed at the hotel three times and have been able to park without a problem every time. The rooms do not have air con but even though we have been there in August we did not find that a problem.

When we left waitress alone with no receptionist had to help move car that had blocked us in. Not able to get final as no receptionist had arrived by the time we left at 0845. Waitress , young girl with glasses fantastic. Merci. No receptionist to settle bill very poor

The only thing that was wrong was the towels in the bathroom were terrible. Grey threadbare and small. Really need to upgrade these for a hotel that is otherwise so good.

Ideally situated on the water with a lovely restaurant. The breakfast was delicious with exceptional service. The hotel is right on the quay to take the ferry over to Saint Malo.

My bedroom seemed to have no curtains and as I slept at the hotel end of August, I was woken by the light. Maybe there was something I did not understand.

The wall plugs were behind the bed and hidden on the desk… had to move the bed forward to plug my charger. The shower and its pressure reducer are bad and make almost impossible to shower and not flood the whole bathroom.

Light bright room with huge bed & en suite & powerful shower. Lovely receptionist. Excellent breakfast. Dreamy location

Charged 4 euros for each bottle of water in the bedroom ( we thought they were complimentary)

The hotel is wonderfully situated at the sailing harbour . There are friendly staff , delicious food but the rooms could be refurbished somewhat . But a lively stay .
