Location is excellent, the hotel is just minutes walk from beaches, port, markets and some top class seafood restaurants. Booked a room with a balcony which had a very nice view of passing boats in the canal. Room is a simple and clean design, it had a large double bed (not two singles pushed together) with good storage space, excellent WiFi and good Air Conditioning. Twin head shower is amazingly powerful. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Late breakfast availability was a bonus during my stay! Paid parking out back of hotel with access code allowed me to relax and not worry about street parking. I travel lots, and this was the most charming hotel I've stayed at for 5+ years - and at a fair price considering the popular/wealthy location. Thank you for your hospitality!

Location

Not all the rooms have view on the ocean and mine had a view to the back of the hotel so that was not ideal. This was off season so the hotel was not full it seemed. Finding a parking space nearby the hotel took some time. Overall: great location, very nice and friendly staff, room comfortable and clean, I enjoyed the visit

Unfortunately our room.. no 10 on first floor.. is next door to restaurant and there was intermittent buzzing from their fridges! Not enough to keep us awake.

We stayed in tow different rooms.. because we liked it , wanted to stay an extra night. the second room the biggest in the hotel I think, was just absolutely lovely, the shower worked a treat, in the first room the overhead one had a handle which was broken troublesome again was the mattress cover scenario. the breakfast .. was so elegantly organised, slef service, but one felt literally at home.. and the coffee was first class.

our first room, though quite expensive ws very cramped. a little fridge would have been fabulous. and the mattress cover s are a problem.

Overall it was great being so close to everything and the hotel had nice sea side charm.

Maybe slightly tired looking in some places but still it was really pleasant overall.

Great location next to the old Quay and a short stroll to the beach. Excellent fish restaurant close by.. Very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast and dogs were allowed in the cafe.

The rooms are a little dated and basic but not a problem for a short stay.

I had an enjoyable stay at Hôtel Océan. Well located, close to the centre, beaches, restaurants and harbour; everything is a short walk away. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The best thing about my stay was the staff - so friendly and helpful :)

It was slightly noisy in my room as the sound does travel through the building (but I have experienced much worse). If you are a solo traveller, travelling without a car, it can be difficult to get around outside of the immediate proximity (not linked to the hotel, but a point to note).

Clean tidy room lovely location by the sea food was as expected The location is ideal for our stop over break in journey from Alicante to ferry at Caen We hope to revisit and explore the area more.

nice location, situated on the canal to sea. Good area for sightseeing, some good restaurants in the area. parking space behind the hotel. the rooms are a bit outdated, but the personnel makes up for that. hygiene is excellent, so is the breakfast, served in a fresh breakfast room/bar. to make a long story short... a place to put in the memory and favourites.

Rather nice , Veranda... Great located... very friendly staff, Bar in the building, excellent restaurant literally round the corner, parking was easy, right in front - not guaranteed, but with come and go no prob
