We had a lovely time. My partner and I went for our anniversary. The room was perfect. It was clean and had all the facilities you'd want but was just that little bit nicer than most places. It felt like we'd spoiled ourselves by staying there. The staff were all just so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very nice with table service. The evening meal at the restaurant was something special too. Just fantastic.

The restaurant was closed on the Monday which we did know in advance and we'd planned to have takeout (which they allow when their restaurant is closed). However most of the nice places are up town and I'm not so mobile so I couldn't make it. We still had a lovely meal but definitely something to plan for if you go on a Monday.

Help me! How can I describe our wonderful stay at the Falcon Hotel in the charming and beautiful Bridgnorth. The hotel is centrally located in the small town, on the east bank of the River Severn, surrounded by historic and picturesque architecture and fresh air galore. The hotel has free parking for the car, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful staff and serves a lovely, typical English breakfast. The "stable" where the whole family slept was spacious, clean and charming. Thank you for a memorable stay at your venerable hotel!

That we had to check out as early as eleven (we really didn't want to leave the hotel at all)

Booked initially to meet family as the location was positioned effectively to do so, however on first glance we imagined room to be on site however to our surprise we were taken from initial location to a separate building attached to said property and Then brought through a separate entrance via gates and shown PIN code for the first door in and left there to be told our room was on the 3rd floor although room we first viewed via app was accurate to room we were put in, I was totally blindsided by it being a totally different building to said location!! Would stay again 100% as was perfectly located and was 100% booked as seen ! However would be nice to be informed and included in initial booking information that it is NOT actually located on said property of the booking name! The falcon hotel, building next door unattended to the falcon hotel with totally separate entrance and exit from hotel would’ve been information needed prior to booking

I visited Bridgnorth to see friends from the local heritage railway, whilst ticking off some other red pen attractions, the cliff railway being one. The falcon provided perfect location being walkable, a lovely breakfast at an affordable price, unlike some in the area which were 50 pound more for alot less service.

Breakfast took a little longer than expected to come (around 45 minutes) however staff handled this well and this was peak Saturday service. More of a mild niggle than anything. Would definitely return as the breakfast that came was more than worth it.

Bar and restaurant areas were lovely. Location good in the centre of Low Town close to the Cliff Railway. Breakfast served well. Dinner at Thalio was outstanding. Another nice touch is that as the restaurant is closed on Mondays you are invited to bring in a takeout and will be provided plates and cutlery with no issue at all. Staff very accomodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here

Not so much ‘not like’ as a need to be aware that the hotel is an original building so there are no lifts at all. We had a room at the top of the building so decided not to carry our suitcases up narrow flight so stairs. Still all added to the character of the stay.

Fantastic hotel combining all mod cons in an old chatming historic building. All facilities excellent. There's a bar & great Asian restaurant in the premises with a terrace outside. Breakfast was really good, big choice. The full English first-class. So this hotel is perfect in every way, but what really stands out is the genuine warmth and friendliness of all the staff. Big shout out to Louisa - thank you!! We were travelling from Ireland and broke the journey in Bridgenorth, between the town having so much to do and our choice of hotel - we were really impressed & definately will return!

Only having one night..

The staff in the hotel and restaurant were great. The food in the restaurant was top notch. Location was perfect and the carpark was easy to find and park on. Lots of choice for drinks and food at the bar.

We booked a family room which only had one bed (could not have supported the 3 guests it said it had capacity for). The bed was made up of two separate mattresses, one firm, one soft. The bathroom was very small and was not very clean. On the booking.com website it stated the room has a bath and shower, but the room only had a shower. We spoke to the manager who stated " yes, it says a bath, a shower. This means one or the other, not both".

Everything went well.

Nothing about the hotel - everything was great. What I DID NOT like is the constant emails from Booking.com. Every single day I was bombarded with emails about Thalio which is the restaurant within the hotel. I'm sure that this is a good restaurant but the only thing that Booking.com managed to achieve by their constant marketing emails was that I avoided the restaurant. Well done Booking.com - you lost the restaurant a potential customer. I'll definitley use the hotel again but through a different agent.

This property has been refurbished in recent years and it’s been done tastefully. The staff were very friendly, it was in an ideal location close to the river suitable for the reason we were there. We were upgraded to a studio apartment due to a lost key for our designated room, which was very much appreciated.

We felt the bathroom hadn’t had a thorough clean? The Toilet brush was disgusting. I mentioned this at checkout.

Attentive staff: responsive and considerate. We were upgraded to larger accommodation further away from the air conditioning fans, and everything was just fine. Cooked breakfasts excellent; somewhat lacking in alternative options. Thali asian restaurant was superb! Manager was excellent in terms of welcome, service, and response.

The initial room accommodation was somewhat lacking in terms of space and comfort, but see note above. Otherwise everything was as we had hoped on planning our visit.
