This is a very quiet ideally situated property. There are lovely period features and it is immaculately clean. I particularly liked the attention to detail such as shower caps, fan heater in the bathroom, glasses in addition to tea and coffee. The breakfast was tasty and cooked according to your tick list submitted the night before. Breakfast service was really good. Our room was small but absolutely fine. There was plenty of room to move around, plenty of light , opening windows and a little entrance lobby to hang your clothes.

No safe but is in room description Very hot in the room, made sleeping difficult. Dark on the road of an evening - no street lighting Stayed 2 nights, servicing the room consisted of straightening the quilt cover, picking the towels up off the floor and draping them on the side of the radiator (not hanging like they do when they’re fresh), putting more milk and tea bag’s and emptying the bin. Shower dispenser challenging Room lovely and quiet but dark light in bathroom Not a very warm welcome but then the owners brother very helpful and friendly, always trying to please and explained extenuating circumstances Really centrally located. Sadly no drop off bag facility and 3.30 check in is quite late

We stayed in the Saltbox self-catering house It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was nice and warm with the central heating and electric fire. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. It was in a very convenient location to walk to the shops and restaurants in the town. It is an ideal place to stay for a small family or group of friends. It is also close to Severn Valley Railway if you want to visit.

You can not park next to the property, which could be difficult if you have a lot of luggage and you have to remember to pay for parking each day. I can understand it is because it is on a small road. it's just something to bear in mind.

Great location walking distance to high street, restaurants, and the finicular to the low town. Lovely breakfast each morning and super friendly and helpful staff.

It was unfortunate that the wifi failed in the room and we had to go to reception to check emails. Management were quick to try and rectify this, but it was a provider access issue not something onsite staff had control over

Breakfast was cooked fresh. The room was a little cramped, but clean and fresh. We didn't go on holiday to watch telly in the room, so it served its purpose perfectly. The location just off the High Street was perfect - no more than 5 minutes walk to get to terrific restaurants, pubs & shops.

Late Check-In. We arrived at 3pm and had to hang around for a half-hour or walk round town travel weary. We knew parking was difficult and was a worry before we set off from home. However, it worked out OK.

What was good was the location of the room. I had recently injured my knee, so it was helpful to have a downstairs room. The breakfast was good and the pre-booking system was helpful. What was especially helpful was that the friendly staff informed us that we needed to ask the taxi taking us to Much Wenlock on the Sunday evening to pick us up from Sainsbury's and not outside the hotel. This was due to the Tractor Parade.

We stayed here overnight while we attended a wedding and it was perfect for everything we needed. Very quiet location but right next to a lovely town for walking around. The breakfast was so good and the staff were all lovely and very helpful. Our room was prepared earlier than usual to accommodate our wedding attendance and it made such an enormous difference! Thank you so much.

The hotel's interiors are beautiful and all the staff was really kind and friendly. Big, big plus for the plugin adapter present, as we forgot to take ours and it turns out that not every hotel has them in place.

The internet signal at our room on the second floor was flaky, tending to disconnect. It was much better in common areas downstairs.

Location is good right at the doorstep of the upper town center. There is a parking lot Listley Street with is a street parallel the Hotel AND there is a walk through passage to that parking lot next to the Hotel, so parking there is very close and convenient. Cooked Breakfast very nice.

As the building is old, the staircase is low. It would have been nice if beams had some simple cushioning on the edge, in case your head bump into a beam ;-)

Period style property full of rustic charm. Rooms very clean and cosy . Breakfast was an added bonus lovely selection of cereals, fruit and fruit juices on offer to help your self , and then full English cooked perfectly with options of how you like your eggs ie scrambled poached or fried which you choose on arrival to the hotel day before . Plenty of tea and coffee served to us at our table as-well during our breakfast .
