I loved everything about the hotel, honestly its one of the best hotel and in my opinion it deserves the 5 star hotel not the 4 star at all - Hotel owners are very friendly, cheerful, hospitable, held and welcoming - View of the hotel & rooms are so beautiful which makes it peaceful and relaxing - Attention to details in everything - Ski area is near the hotel - Food quality were just wow with their chefs which makes it such a fine dining and they are so flexible with the food options in case someone did not like what’s in the menu especially for the Muslims make sure to inform them that your food should not contains alcohol or pork and they will change the dish for you with no hesitation - Activities in hotels such as board games, swimming, hiking, sauna, cycling and more

The road to the hotel is a bit narrow on the mountain and risky so you need to drive slow especially in the winter weather

This was a true 5 star experience. They upgraded my room so we had a private sauna on the terrace. The food was incredible, a five course meal every night that rivaled the Michelin experiences I have had. The spa treatments were affordable and excellent. The spa facilities themselves were stunning, I've never been more relaxed. The staff was also incredible, very attentive. They have activities and a great cocktail bar where you can enjoy the view in the evenings. I can't wait to go back!

This was a little tricky to get to from Amsterdam. We flew to Milan and took a bus and two trains to get there. But I would absolutely do it again as the property was worth the long travel days.

Our stay at Santre far exceeded any expectations - we can surely say that it was the most magical place we have stayed at ever. The hotel is absolutely wonderful with its unique architecture and interior design, a beautiful and relaxing spa, and exceptional food (very creative and special dinner creations and a all you could wish for brunch buffet acommodating for any extra wishes)! The family and all the staff were super friendly and made sure to let us feel very welcome and taken care of at all times. When deciding on booking our holidays with Santre we read in one of the comments that ‘despite the hotel being fully booked you always feel like the only guest’. We could not agree with that more - even though the hotel was almost always completely full, it never felt crowded or loud at all and the staff was always available for us at any time. Besides all the mentioned amenities the hotel also offers a very diverse activity program. Thus, yoga, stretching, kickboxing, acquafitness, etc. classes are offered more than daily along with hikes, climbing and bike trips! Alex, the activiy coach is super motivated and makes sure to challenge each participant no matter what fitness level! We can really recommend everyone to stay at Santre for a relaxing and unforgettable break! We will for sure be back and thank so much for everything!

Nothing, it was absolutely perfect!

The staff, really friendly and helpful. The facilities, cleaning. Design. Simply amazing. The amazing food specially for a family like us with a son with severe food allergies. We have never been to such an accurate, secure hotel in what food allergies and ingredients concerns. No incidents, no cross contamination. Such a relief. Unprecedented and they set the bar at such a stellar level. All the hotels should learn from them. AMAZING!

Only two tiny insignificant details. The sleeping pillows could be more comfortable but that is probably our personal taste. The ski resort is close by but not so beginner friendly. The blue slope is only blue in name. They were red at least.

Our room was so perfect, the view was incredible and we were so lucky with the weather to be able to enjoy sitting out watching the mountains in April! We made good use of the hot tub and own sauna in our room. The hotel itself was amazing, it smelt good wherever you went. The food tasted so fresh and there was a different menu each evening, all tasting delicious. The heated pool was a dream when it felt cold in the mornings and there are lots of places for you to chill out. And not to mention, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful all throughout the hotel! We have been recommending this place to everyone and we will certainly be back, thank you to everyone who made it so special for us, we will remember this beautiful hotel as the place we got engaged!

Nothing at all to complain about, all the little things were well thought out.

What did you like the most ask booking. There is to much to talk about. Literally everything. The room is big enough, you have space everywhere and balkon is fantastic. Drinking a drink and looking at the mountains under the stars hits different. Then we have staff, they are all very helpful and kind. Wine collection is amazing, unfortunately the wine tasting was during our departure. Next time we will join too. All experiences with the guide are pleasant surprise. Ice bath, snow shoe walk, sunset walk they all where amazing. And the guide was top notch. Food... och boy... every evening eating different 5 course menu was a fantastic experience. Fantastic hotel, fantastic and kind staff and owners . After all the work rush we finally found our inner peace. Thank you Santre and till next year January.

A wonderful, modern, well-equipped hotel with excellent wellness facilities and amazing cuisine. The staff was very helpful, especially in the dining area. After many disappointments with the quality-to-price ratio at other hotels, I finally had the feeling that I got what I paid for.

No such experience would make me write about failures or disappointments—only a few very minor details. Perhaps just worth mentioning: due to my dog allergy, I really appreciated that guests with dogs were dining in a separate room. However, they also had free access to the bar area with their dogs, which made me feel quite uncomfortable.

We had the pleasure of visiting Santre during the Easter break, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips of our lives—we got engaged during our stay! We truly couldn’t have imagined a more magical setting for such a special moment. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely warm, polite, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and to make this occasion feel even more extraordinary. Their thoughtful gestures and impeccable service made a lasting impression on us. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. One of our favorite features was the balcony and the cozy seating area beside it, which offered breathtaking views of the mountains and the ever-changing clouds. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The thoughtful inclusion of a separate luggage area made the room feel even more organized and clutter-free—a small but impactful detail. We opted for the half-board package, and it was well worth it. Breakfast offered a generous and varied spread that catered to all tastes. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the dessert selection at dinner—absolutely divine! Each meal was delicious, and the panoramic views from the restaurant elevated the dining experience to something truly special. The standout feature of the property, however, was the pool and spa area. Simply put, it was heavenly. The pools were temperature-controlled and featured soothing water jets, providing the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation. It was genuinely hard to put into words how serene and revitalizing the entire experience was. What truly set Santre apart was their attention to detail. Everything—from the quality of the napkins at dinner to the availability of room slippers, plush bathrobes, and even tote bags for the spa—was thoughtfully considered. Our room was also equipped with a coffee machine, which was a lovely touch.

Beautiful new property, excellent location, the food, the facilities, scenery, and staff. Incredible place. We enjoyed our stay here.

The only downside of our stay was that we booked a junior suite with a balcony, expecting the view shown in the photos. However, the room we were given had an obstructed view, which was disappointing. When I raised this with the staff, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked at the time. Given the price paid and the fact that only four rooms in the hotel have this issue, I believe guests should be informed in advance to set proper expectations! Photo attached.

The most gorgeous hotel - spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms, stunning views and truly incredible food. We stayed in a lower floor room with a hot tub and it was wonderful to have such a lovely serene space. The staff were all really friendly and attentive and the family obviously work unbelievably hard to make this hotel so incredible. The shuttle was also excellent taking us to the Plose (5 mins away) and collecting us. Thank you to all of the staff for looking after us!

Our only comment would be that we think the hotel would be more suitable as an adults-only but this is no fault of the hotel, just our preference!
