The location is great, right on the beach boardwalk, but very quiet as it's a short walk away from the main street. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have a small bar which is very nice. The front door is on a side street and the beach boardwalk is 30 steps to the right. The hotel has an elevator, but we walked up and down as the walls are decorated with interesting posters which made the walk up/down interesting. We had a small balcony with a very nice view, the room is adequate and the bathroom is larger than some and more than adequate. We rented bikes as the area has many easily rideable bike paths, however, if you're uneasy on a non-powered bike, an electric bike may be suitable as there are some areas where you would be in traffic. The best bakery that I've ever been to is Helle Bruno, located in the traffic circle on the Trouville side.

We opted not to visit Bayeux, Caen, Honfluer...as the train/bus rides are surprisingly long. We knew this in advance, but thought that there may be other options.

We had an amazing stay at Le Flaubert. Super kind and friendly staff, perfect location a few steps from the beach and the beautiful promenade of Trouville. The room was beautiful and the view on the beach a dream. The whole hotel is tastefully decorated. The in-room breakfast option is really good quality-price. A parking for the guests is available (previous reservation) for 35 euros a night (high price but in general in line with the prices of Trouville, plus super practical considering the narrow streets of the town, where it won't be easy to park the car)

Incredible experience. The hotel has been renovated so tastefully with modern amenities, somehow you still feel the quaintness of Trouville. I booked a room with a view right on the ocean, with a small balcony. Location couldn't have been better, walk within minutes anywhere in town and to tons of restaurants and the fish market where you can actually sit and have a meal till 7 PM. Loved it. It'll be my go to hotel when I go back to Trouville.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Flaubert. Our room was well-appointed and spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Patricia was incredibly helpful and very friendly. She helped us to store our bikes and couldn't have done more to make us feel at home. We had breakfast on our balcony in the morning which we really enjoyed and the quality of which was very good. The hotel is right on the beach in the centre of town so the location couldn't be any better.

The parking is quite expensive if you leave your car in the covered car park by the casino. Next time I would book a space in the small hotel car park beforehand.

Love the location, right on the beach and boardwalk and close to restaurants and laundry. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us a map and a restaurant list as well as a city guide with helpful recommendations for visiting the city. We had a nice view of the ocean and boardwalk from our air-conditioned room. The decor of our room and of the entire hotel was unique and very inviting. We liked having a toilet room separate from the sink and shower. All was clean and very well maintained. It was great to have a coffee maker in the room and we appreciated the complimentary water each day.

The closet is a bit small and there were very few drawers in our room; however I was able to organize our things very well, thanks to extra counter space in the bathroom.

Everything! We really felt welcomed by the staff and had a very relaxing stay. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The location next to the boardwalk was ideal to soak up the atmosphere of Trouville. Looking forward to our next break at the Flaubert.

Wonderful hotel, tastefully and charmingly decorated. Impeccable service. Very well located, right next to the beach. Extremely comfortable rooms (with yoga mats!), good bed, soft sheets, and very quiet. In any case, we would return to the hotel without a second thought

The only negative point is that the hotel parking was full, and we couldn’t find a place to park, which is a big issue in Trouville.

Great location overlooking the beach and ideal location for bars and restaurants in both Trouville and Deauville (20 min walk away). Breakfast was good quality with lots of options to choose from. Staff were very friendly and helpful - overall a very charming hotel which I would highly recommend.

We had a nice friendly welcome to this super hotel right on the beach. The rooms are really nice and we had an almost Seaview - the ones on the front must be wonderful! The bar is cute and it wasn't too hard to find somewhere nearby to park. The decor is really cool. Comfy beds.

I can't think of anything! We didn't have breakfast as we went out out to have it on the boardwalk so can't comment on that.
