The location is unbeatable. The beach is within walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants close to the villa. The room was quiet and spotless. The staff clearly take great care. It is, of course, highly appreciated. The staff were cautious with the bedsheets, which is totally understandable. I was asked about the medical gel I had used by the staff when I left a spot. I cleaned everything, so there were no problems. We saw stuff on the pillow falling from the air conditioner when we arrived. The staff cleaned it straight away, which was good. I'm grateful for the fridge. We were given dressing gowns and slippers, some shampoos, few bottles of water, which was a nice touch. Make sure you received the message about the city tax which makes 1% from the sum you paid for the stay. I knew it only upon arrival, which wasnt a big deal but still

I guess another bin or additional plastic bags would make sense as during the summer, tourists buy at least bottles of water and snacks, which leaves more rubbish. The shower and curtain can be challenging for people of our height (175-180 cm tall) as it was a bit narrow I don't know how the story ended, but this much I do know: after we booked an economy room, the staff sent us a message saying that this kind of room was very small for two people.They recommended that we cancel the booking here and we would be offered a bigger room for the same price. I asked for a confirmation because I needed it for the border, but the staff offered to leave everything as it was. At the end of the day, we definitely had a comfortable room for two people who are 175-180 cm tall.

We stayed at Villa Anticus for a couple of nights in October and were very happy with our choices, as it ticked the most important boxes :cleanliness(down to the glasses on the bedside table, everything was spotless), quiet (admittedly, there's not much traffic in the middle of town in autumn, but even so, with the windows open the humming of voices in the street was imperceptible), and welcoming hosts. The hotel is accesibile from all public transport stops (there are quite a few buses going into the heart of town), close to several highly-rated eateries, and within walking distance from the beach. One sweet touch-there are books available for borrowing in each room.

Location is really in the heart of the city, next to all restaurants, Ovidiu square, Casino, port and even beach not so far away. The hotel is very nicely renovated and decorated, old and elegant architecture. Very nice and helpful host. We could rest well with the window closed, no car on the road but being in the centre of the city it is quite lively till late night.

The room was quite small, no balcony. No parking assured, we parked on a street near the hotel.

Tidy and pleasant room, good AC, TV, everything in good condition. Bath robe, slippers, towels and toiletry products provided. Hotel located very conveniently right in the city centre. Bonus: our room had direct view to the sunrise, which was a very nice and unexpected surprise.

The rooms facing the main street can be quite loud, but the windows are soundproof so unless you sleep with the window open, everything should be fine :)

Nothing special. Of course, all the disadvantages of a hotel located on the main street. It is noisy at night, but this is something to be prepared for.

We stayed only one night, it was pretty good. The location is excellent, is just in the middle of the old center. The staff was really nice. You can get from there to any restaurant or big touristic point. The room was big enough for 2, the bed was comfy (the blanket was a little too small for 2), good facilities, and really clean. Also we had some complementary water, coffee and tea from the hosts, which we really appreciate it.

Is not that good isolated from the outside sounds, so It can get noisy, especially in the touristic season, being right in the middle of the "party". Also we heard our brother in law snore from the room next door. So probably not that good for light sleepers - but get some earplugs and everything will be OK.

Great place, you can't get a more central location than this with the beach, restaurants and train station being very accessible. The host was amazing, 10+! Very kind and knowledgeable, gave us loads of great recommendations and allowed my mother and I to check-in earlier to be able to enjoy Constanta as we arrived. Will definitely come back :)

I agree with other reviews saying the economy room is quite small, however the price was more than fair - no complaints.

The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The location was excellent for the night-life aspect.

Having access to night life means noise ... The window had to stay closed during the night to shield us from the street noise.
