The design is fun and upbeat, with thoughtful amenities like filtered water and 24x7 coffee and tea. The lounges are comfortable to spend time in and have board games, sports on TV, and a billiard table. There is a microwave and grab and go food, beer and wine area near the front desk. The yogurt machine in the breakfast room is unique! The rooms are not spacious but are well laid-out. There are no in-room microwaves or coffee makers but that wasn't actually a big deal. The bathroom was a typical size and well designed. The Tru reminded me of hotels in London and Paris, where space is at a premium, but you are comfortable because they've designed everything so well.

The breakfast follows a trend in seeing in hotels these days. They serve these small omelets that I'm pretty sure are pulled out of the freezer and microwaved. Not good! But everyone is doing it.

Loved the staff. They were so friendly and remembered my family each day.

The floors weren’t cleaned as well as they could be. There was some sand or something on the floor. And the kids had a bit of trouble with the soap dispenser. Otherwise wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Loved the pool table and games area. Made the stay more fun!

There were several men loitering around cars parked on the street. They would stand in the entrance while talking on the phone. They acted like we were disturbing them by just trying to get out of the parking lot.

We loved the clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was really great. Love the yogurt machine and the pancake machine! The staff was very friendly and heloful. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was very meager. Maybe the breakfast felt that way because I’m a vegetarian and my daughter is vegan — I haven’t seen such limited options in a long time.

The only complaint, I have arthritis in hands and needed regular bar soap as had difficulty getting soap from squeeze bottles.

It was very clean both in my room, and around the property in general. Every member of staff that I interacted with were very nice, and were very helpful. The included breakfast was quite nice.
