Loved the cleanliness. Definitely better than your quality in hotel. Would stay here again

I am disabled and was scheduled for surgery the following morning. The location was very convenient to the hospital. My room was located close to the entrance/exit door and parking. I use a roller wheel walker therefore it was very easy to push on the carpet. The shower was equipped with handicap handles which brought me comfort and felt safe. The night desk clerk was very courteous and answered my questions with compassion and a great personality. Although I wasn't able to eat anything due to surgery, my husband was pretty content with the complimentary breakfast. After 35 plus years in Wyoming, and going to State Wrestling years after years with 2 of our sons, this is our first stay at the Riverside. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely refer family and friends. Mahalo for the hospitality. Nadine Pililani Rodriguez

Possible handicap parking although we were fortunate to get a parking close to the building with great lighting at building 7.

The owners clearly care about making this hotel beautiful again! The renovations that have been done so far are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a very nice restaurant located inside. It was packed and busy when I checked in. The pool and atrium area are lovely. All the plants in that area are real! The breakfast area is also in the atrium and is very nice as well. There is an arcade with some excellent games! If you drive EV, they have charge stations. The location is great. I don’t have anything negative to say. I know there will be some reviews that don’t give this place a chance or are very picky about little things, but they deserve your business. Just remember that they are still renovating some areas and give them some grace.

The only disappointing thing is that they claim to offer free shuttle service to & from airport to the hotel, but they don't really do. I called 1-1/2 week before my dad's arrival to set up the free shuttle from airport to hotel & they never called me to set it even though the gentleman who answered the phone told me that someone would call me in 2 days to get my info. I went in person the day before my dad arrived & requested the shuttle service. Both employees at the counter acted as if I was asking for something they don't offer. The lady took my info & said she would call me before her shift ended that day, she didn't call. The next day, she called to asked if my dad had a ride to the hotel, I told her that since they didn't call/set up anything he ended up renting a car.

Wonderful location--very peaceful with a walking trail nearby! Loved that it was by the river. The staff were friendly, professional and very accommodating! Nice hotel that will be even better once they finish remodeling.

The hotel is under new ownership, and they are in the process of renovating the whole hotel while trying to stay in business. It is not that we didn't like it, but people need to be aware that it will take them some time to update and upgrade everything. Remodeling was not a major factor for us--we understand completely the need and the inconvenience this may be for others, However, our room had plumbing and heating issues that needed to be resolved, and they worked with us to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible..

Even though the hotel was under renovations, I could see how aesthetically pleasing it was becoming. I particularly liked the atrium area with an indoor swimming pool, and a large breakfast dining room. Spread all round were numerous clusters of chairs/tables for small group gatherings - all under a skylight type roof. I'm not sure what the final design will be, but I thought this common area looked inviting. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. I was also quite impressed with the well-kept lawn areas around the property and the river.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view of the river from the room was great and the bed very comfortable. The restaurant was great and the breakfast was good. The entire downstairs communal areas are gorgeous. Great location right next to paved trail along the Platte River.

I know they are upgrading areas of the hotel. The second floor rooms are being redone. My room was fine, but there was no information about the hotel, the facilities, the area at all. The chair was crammed in a corner and not very comfortable. The light over the chair did not work. The bathroom was small but adequate. I'll be staying again the end of April so we will see their progress.

Bathroom was so small you couldn't open the door and there was no way 2 people could be in there at the same time. Roku TV - unable to watch live sports. We stayed 8 days - they only swap out bath linen every 3 days and the water leaked out into the floor so we had to use towels to dry floor. Very difficult to get replacement bath linen. Carpet was dirty and stained.

A lot of these old hotels are being renovated now and they often look nice in the pictures but when you get there, besides new carpet and some new sheets, there's a lot of grime and dirty walls and old bathroom fixtures. This renovation felt like every surface had been considered and redone and it was just beautiful and clean. The center Atrium was the kind of place that you just wanted to hang out in for a while. It was a shame I was at a conference so much of the time because I would have liked to be there more. Also loved that I could have my dogs and that right out the back door I was 20 ft from a walking path that went for miles along the river. Three of the four staff were very friendly. I also really appreciated a filtered bottle refilling station. I often worry about the drinkability of the water in some of these old hotels.

the carpet and the dog friendly room was rather stained and didn't look like it had been renewed but I'd rather have that be the case and still be allowed to have my dogs then have nice carpet and not be allowed to bring my dogs. just plan on wearing flip-flops or slippers around your room. the bed was comfy although the pillows were not the best for me. the bathroom was very tiny and it was a bit awkward to move around in there trying to change but there was at least a separate area outside the toilet area with a vanity.

Great facilities, swimming pool, breakfast area, fun arcade and workout room. Very friendly staff.

The room was decent. The carpet needed a little attention. Gum stuck on the carpet and maybe a spilled icecream/shake looking pink stuff stuck on the bottom part of dresser and floor. Other than that, bedding and bathroom really clean. The hot water in the shower would only go to Luke warm being turned all the way to hot. But it would not deter me from staying here again for the price, location, and friendly staff.
