The economy room was as expected, a bit small and basic, but it was spotlessly clean. Perhaps it could be updated soon with air conditioning, however the fan provided was adequate. The staff were fantastically welcoming, especially Elena who welcomed us on arrival. The pool was a great bonus, considering the location of the hotel. Half board dinner was delicious.

Staff was lovely at any hour, great pool, and rustic villa charm.

Cleanliness was a factor in one of the rooms my group booked, so they actually switched to a poolside room which was much nicer anyway. The beds, in particular the pillows, could use an update. Not a problem for me but if you don’t have a car parked in the lot, you have to walk up a big hill to get to get to the city. Should be noted for any older or disabled folks.

Firstly I will comment on the owner and staff - they were great. Very friendly and welcoming. Silvano Nencini was a good host - he kept us informed and kindly refunded us money on a booking mix up (of ours not his). He was very pleasant to chat to. Maria Fernanda - our table host, was very polite and pleasant and always very helpful. And the rest of the team were all friendly and great too. Our room was the best in the hotel and we will definitely ask for it again (when we return which we are already planning) - it is a homely and welcoming place- quiet and relaxing. The pool is a massive attraction and the views are stunning.

I did really like the view from the window of the room, the location it self it's really nice, it's a pity that the parking of the car is pretty uncomfortable if you are not one of the first to get the cars pots right in front of the structure. Everything was good so I raccomand everybody to go and stay at villa nencini, but u fortunately it wasn't perfect

Some things could have been done with more cure in details and kindness or precision in hosting.

The hotel is a traditional tuscany house.The furniture is a bit old in the rooms in the front, but it has it’ s charm. The pool is very big and the water is clean. The restaurant is good, but the waitress are a bit slow and they forget a lot, but I got over it because I saw they are very young. Instead, the reception stuff is very professional. Mr Silvano made everything he could so we can have a good stay. Thank you!

Lovely hotel, decor and facilities felt a bit dated but the room was clean and comfortable. Very firm bed! Basic but tasty breakfast with great coffee. Beautiful garden with great pool. Location was perfect for walking into Volterra. Easy to park our car.

The location of the property is perfect. With just a short 5-min walk up the hill, to the city centre of Volterra. The room was comfortable and adequate for the purpose of our short 1-night stay.

The bathroom was a bit small and difficult to move around in, but not much of a hinderance considering, the breathtaking beauty of the view of the outlying areas, the property provides. We highly recommend a stay here.

The location was perfect, 5 min uphill walk to inside the walls of Volterra. An absolute gem of a hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and clean, there were lovely terraces for shade or sun, the pool are was very spacious, quiet with plenty of beds. Would go back.

Superb food, friendly and welcoming staff. Pool was clean and not crowded. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, clean and with good facilities. Walking distance from the historic town which was beautiful and very interesting.

Parking could be a bit of a problem but we did manage to find a space!
