Location, amenities, beach, staff was great.

The room we stayed in needed to be refreshed as in needed painting, floors were chipped, towels were thin, bath mat was frayed and old. Cobweb in the bathroom.

We especially liked the location of this resort as well as the staff was very friendly and helpful and was doing everything possible to make our stay perfect. The rooms were very clean at all times, the pool is great and the beach as well! we had a great stay, thanks!

Sometimes the restaurant areas looked a bit neglected. this has more to do with the attitude of guests who show a lack of respect for cleanliness. Although the staff did everything they could to keep it clean, it sometimes looked dirty at some places. in the theme restaurants this was better. Also, there are a lot of birds flying around and invading the restaurant terraces. In Madeira they use falcons to keep birds away. could be an idea to use this here as well.

Amazing resort that's aesthetically pleasing, exceptionally clean, and perfectly located a few steps from the beach. A lovely 45-minute stroll along the golden sand into the town. Endless amounts of food in the self-service buffett - we managed to miss breakfast, but no worry, brunch started as breakfast ended!! Various vegetarian options and a selection of salads and pickled vegetables. Deserts including fresh fruit and cakes. A big thank you to Marta Vasconcelos, the Guest Service Manager who booked the Madeira Lovers restaurant for my birthday and arranged for the cake and wine and a thank you also to all the staff for singing happy birthday. Thanks to Martha also for the gift of a vial of wine and chocolates. We had a lovely room with a balcony facing the hills, which meant it was very quiet. The huge bed was very comfortable, and the room had all the amenities one could need - minibar, kettle, safe etc.

The fact my holiday ended and I had to leave this slice of paradise!!!

This was our first experience of an all inclusive resort and it didn't disappoint. We had all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) included, as well as drinks, and access to a lot of the main facilities - swimming pools (indoor & outdoor), gym, sauna, outdoor sports, lounges and private access to the main beach. The food was good and we enjoyed complimentary access to two of the three themed restaurants. The Madeiran one was a particular favourite. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were able tl book tours lf the island at the reception desk, they arranged a transfer to the port when we were leaving and gave me a courtesy call to ensure we were happy with everything. As a final bonus as we had 7 hours to kill on the day of check-out they let us use all the facilities post-room check out, allowing us to fully relax before we headed back to the main island.

This isn't something I didn't like, but more of an improvement, the in-house entertainment felt very family-friendly, which is good, but more adult-centric entertainment would be the extra cherry on top of a great hotel stay.

The buffet and drinks options were excellent. The snack bar was convenient, too. The resort was adorned in natural beauty with beautiful palm trees. Our two bedroom suit was huge. The hotel to the beach had a seamless connection with a beach bar. The water is stunning. We had dinner at the Portuguese and Italian restaurants, very good. Great value for the price.

We had to bring our bags to our room because they were understaffed for that job. But, at least they have elevators, and everything is close by. Check-in is slow. They need a more automated system.

The resort was exceptional! Beautiful surroundings. Room was large for a family of four. Facilities excellent! Lots to do for children to keep them busy. Food selection was good & their themed restaurants were very good too! A special mention to Marta (Guest Service Manager) who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, you can tell she takes great pride in her work and it showed she should be recognised for her work at the hotel she is an asset to Pestana Spa Port Santo!

There is nothing I didn't like. I will most definitely return :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Pestana Hotel in Porto Santo. The buffet food was excellent with plenty of choice and really high quality. The facilities were great, with everything you’d need on-site to relax and enjoy your holiday. The pools were lovely, always clean and inviting, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience – we’d happily stay here again!

Coffee in the machines all tasted like chocolate. But this was only a small issue and didn't impact our stay at all...

Our stay was simply amazing! The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and offered beautiful views. The dining experience was top-notch, with a great variety of delicious meals. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed all the amenities, especially the beach. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a 5-star experience. Special thank you for the manager, Marta. She prepared for us small gifts. It was also very nice that the hotel agreed to include the lait checkout service for us for free.

Luigi restaurant is nice, but the time you are waiting for an order too long and poor veraity of desserts.

The staff: The staff is truly amazing and accommodating. Our room was ready at 11am and we could check in earlier. We also checked out at 5, instead of 12pm at no extra costs. It was a low season, not so many people, so the reception could accommodate our request at no extra costs, which is really nice of them. The food: we booked the option with breakfast and dinner. And we are glad we did. The food was high quality, the variety was decent and they cater to vegans as well. Also, most of the restaurants outside of the hotel were either closed, far away, or too expensive for they quality they offer. So booking dinner or all inclusive during is a must!! Location: right at the beach, the beach was beautiful. Amenities: the swimming pool was clean and big, so everyone can enjoy it and not be bothered by others. There were several saunas and a small indoor swimming pool with a warm water. All were lovely and clean.

The balcony was full of the spider net, including the table and chairs, so you can’t sit on them. We didn’t get a complimentary bottle of water, toiletries or bathrobes. I believe it’s because we checked in earlier and they probably didn’t have time to place them in our room. If you are in same situation, just ask the reception and they fix everything in a matter of minutes.

We had a fantastic stay at this all-inclusive hotel. The rooms were spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day. There was a wide variety of food available, and everything we tried was delicious. The food service staff were always friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. Our daughter especially enjoyed the mini disco and the bouncy castle – a big hit for the kids! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back.
