This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Waking up each morning to a peaceful breakfast overlooking the beautiful garden and the sea just beyond felt incredibly special. There was a calm and simplicity to everything that made us slow down and enjoy the moment. The whole place was spotless, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. Breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold options, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. We always looked forward to it. The pool was one of our favourite spots. Clean, quiet, and surrounded by greenery, it invited us to just relax and take it all in. And in less than two minutes, we could go from the pool to the ocean, in a short walk and we were swimming in the sea or resting on the soft sand, just perfect. The hotel’s outdoor bar, was divine, we ordered this amazing, juicy burger, if you enjoy good meat, don’t miss it. We ended up spending a lot of time there, just relaxing under the trees, with little birds flying around. It even has a small mini golf course where we had some fun together. Arriving here felt like finding a peaceful escape in the middle of dry, quiet Porto Santo, it makes you feel light, relaxed and completely disconnected from the outside world, it's one of those places that stays with you, and yes, we’ll definitely be coming back.

Location was idyllic, right on the beach just a short walk from the town. The spa facilities were good. There are several amazing restaurants within a short distance of the hotel. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, organising taxis and tours for us.

My only disappointment was the hot part of the breakfast was at best only tepid, this could be easily rectified by the use of a microwave being made available. There was an array of other foods available, so this is merely an observation.

proximity to the beach, pool was decent. staff very friendly and helpful. room was spacious. our shower wasn’t working so they fixed it straight away. food was very good and the breakfast was a very substantial buffet with a lot of choice

there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was a shame. there is not a great deal to do on Porto Santo, this is no fault of the hotel, and the hotel is located at least a mile from the main town centre, and there is no bus. however it is a pleasant walk to the town along the beach

Nearly everything! First-timers celebrating our 21st anniversary, which coincided with the 01 Nov. holiday (see below), we were treated to a premium room upgrade and 'sneaky' bottle of bubbly. Comfy beds, excellent breakfast buffet, the spa!, gracious public areas and that gorgeous beach. Many thanks to Ines, Ricardo, Luciana and all the staff, you were a pleasure. Appreciated the authentic mid-century design and vibe. So looking forward to a return trip!

The 01 November holiday meant very limited options for dinner in the on-site restaurant and quality suffered. Even so, most places were closed...at least we got to eat and staff went out of their way to register feedback. Next trip, we'll just tweak the dates.

The location was excellent, right on the beach. You would need however to arrange transport (the hotel do this) from the port if you arrive on the island by ferry. The food in the beach bar was very good, we ate there twice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Nadia). The reception staff were very good too and helped us to get booked on a last minute tour. Breakfast was very good too, gluten free bread was available and also alternative milk.

The only thing we can think of is that our room was near the end of a very long corridor - not a big problem, just a bit more exercise for us. A couple of gluten free cakes at breakfast would be nice next time.

Hotel beautifully situated right on the ocean in well-kept gardens. Lovely, caring staff Very clean, even though the hotel is years old.

The indoor pool is extra payed (20€/90min), which should be clearly said before the reservation.

What made this hotel outstanding was definitely the staff. From the reception, to the servers, and baristas at the beach bar. Everybody was super attentive and kind. The receptionists happily answered all our questions and requests. Breakfast was really good, and I can only recommend to book dinner as well! We had Outstanding experience with live music! Server Mr. Paulo and crew were all really kind and made us feel welcomed on each meal. I really hope to visit the hotel again One day.

Absolutely beautiful spa area which we have visited daily. Hotel is located beautyifuly, we walked directly from our room to pool area and beach. One important thing to improve is the mattress - the visitors could benefit from new ones. Overall it was a very good experience and we are looking forward to our next visit.

The only challange where the beds. Next guests can benefit from new ones.
