I love the "holiday house" feel and simplicity of the rooms - it felt a bit retro (in a good way) and took me back to childhood beach holidays. Please don't do a modern makeover on the front accommodation! It was super clean, well equipped and the instructions given were clear and concise. We love thatb there is parking right in front of the unit, easy walking distance to the beach, the excellent Ellen Cove boardwalk and cafes. The shower head was good and there was good pressure and plenty of space in the unit generally.

The only thing I would fault and it is tiny, is that the WiFi doesn't seem to be a secure network so I ended up using a hotspot instead.

Location great, staff great and two room apartment good setup. Overall great place for family to stay and beach just down the road.

TV in unit was old , so at night when kids wanted to chill watching TV they couldn't. As normal TV reception inconsistent and old TV didn't allow for streaming of any serviced. But my sister had two bedroom apartment, which had newer TV and TV reception was fine. Also I stayed there with my whole family with us renting two apartments and three studios. All three of studios we found the hot water would run out really fast, if people showering same time ( must share storage hot water system).

Easy walk to beach and short drive to town centre and easy access to scenic drive. A couch to relax on after exploring. The electric hotplate was so quick, dinner was a breeze. Being able to do laundry and get it line dried was a bonus. Sightseeing information was appreciated.

The toilet was stained and didn't always flush properly..

Great location, a street back from the beach, and very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was warm and very comfortable, clean, hot showers and although no kitchen oven, a useful stove top, and all the required utensils. The winter rates make this place a very attractive, place to stay June, July August.

nothing to whine about - except we only stayed two nights.

everything was fantastic where we were. we loved the location the staff, the spot, nothing really better to say. CLose to the beach, friendly staff, coffee shops, fish n chips, bar etc all within walking distant, park close by for the kids as well!

Our room was a little dusty when we got there as my hayfever played up pretty bad for 2 days, but small price to pay.

Fantastic location. Walk to Middleton Beach. Easy drive to all attractions. Great base!! Amenities fine for a few nights in rhis area. Great to have a kitchenette. No serious complaints. 🐳🌊☺️

Thin walls ... cheapest tissues and toilet roll. Bedside lamps needed a dust. Cushions and bedding could be upgraded. A few small investments could make the room that much more. 🙏✌️

Great location at Middleton Beach, very easy walk to the waterfront, also a very central location in the town made it easy to get around to all the different sights. the unit was very big and spacious, it felt very comfortable. the kitchen facilities were easy to use. the shower/bathroom was very big, lots of room to move around. the beds were comfortable, and there were blackout curtains in the rooms.

if there is scope for upgrades then soundproofing between the units could be improved - in my room I could hear the TV from next door loud and clear and well as the other people's conversations which could have been a huge problem if I was a light sleeper. there needs to be better/more solid doors between the units - I note there was a door adjoining my unit to the next one and this is where a lot of the sound travelled through.

I had booked the accommodation for for a future date and called early that afternoon saying we had changed our plans and asked if we could be booked in that day. Our booking was changed straight away and checked in around an hour later. Very clean and spacious two bedroom villa with a double bed and two single beds in the second room.

Clean very handy to beach, lots of play areas for children. Great walks very short drive to the town center. Couple of local restaurants, has internet and private parking.

A smart tv would be good. Most people use their personal streaming accounts, so no cost to The unit owner.

Older property that has been refurbished while maintaining a lot of the older character, as it’s all in great condition . Spotlessly clean with nice crockery and glasses. Nice and spacious with very comfortable bed. Handy extras such as laundry facilities. Terrific location. Quiet street and has easy walkable access to top food places and the beach.

An improvement would have been a coffee plunger.
