It is a beautiful hotel building in a fabulous location The staff are lovely and very helpful The highlight of the whole place is the restaurant though - that is what gives it the edge

The rooms do not have may air conditioning facility which is ok but the fans arnt really adequate The bedding is cheap and unpleasant - all of it sheets pillows and duvet and I know it is only three stars I’m thinking that doesn’t help to elevate it The automatic light in the toilet is very very annoying - if you need it in the night it comes on and is very bright - for us this could be a reason not o stay there

We have stayed here once before and our request for the same room was met. The level of comfort and cleanliness is of a very high standard. Our room was attractive and bright. Our dog was warmly welcomed. Breakfast was well presented and organised. Th staff are friendly and helpful. Le Moulin Fouret is a place to which we will return.

I think the restaurant could perhaps be refurbed but do keep the candles on the tables !The menu is limited and while our starter of mushroom soup was the best we have ever tasted, there could perhaps be more choice with the mains.

We stayed in what was probably the best room in the property, which only has a limited number of rooms as it functions mainly as a restaurant and for day time functions. The rooms are all on the first or second floor of the old mill, and are all accessed by one or two one or two long flights of polished wooden stairs which can be tricky for those with mobility issues or - as in our case - a very large dog. The rooms are furnished to a high quality, but do not have A/C or a fridge. Staff were all very friendly, and offered to help with transport of luggage. The evening meal was excellent, and of good value. The historic mill and surrounding grounds are very attractive.

Despite ordering breakfast, including time of serving in advance they seemed unprepared for us in the morning, and the service and food (unlike the night before) was disappointing.

Absolutely stunning hotel, beautiful surroundings and garden. Lovely clean room and nice bathroom. Helpful staff, the gentleman who greeted us and served us dinner spoke good English which was helpful. Breakfast was lovely.

Limited menu, only 5 items available and 2 were fish. I’m not a particularly fussy eater but I ended up with the veggie option as I don’t eat fish and didn’t like the sound of the other 2 options. I had read previous reviews about the food being amazing so I was a little disappointed. Drinks were overpriced at €4 for a small bottle of beer.

Super little 'Boutique' hotel. It says 3 stars but it's easily 4 and they know it as they charge for it - It's in a really beautiful location with miles of cycle tracks on the doorstep. We had a dog so walking with his was great and they provided a bowl and bed so they are dog friendly and not the usual dog tolerant. Though we didn't eat there they have a Michelin standard restaurant that looked very nice. Staff are very friendly too.

Just an odd one -our UK/EU adaptors wouldn't work in the room -they kindly lent us one of theirs so it wasn't a big problem as it was just a one night stay

Historic & characterful boutique style hotel. Staff very attentive & the restaurant offered excellent quality food . Due to its age & in the process of keeping its originality there are some aspects/characteristics not conducive to modern day hotels which offer a different type of accommodation. An exceptional hotel in a beautiful setting with attentive staff, what's not to love. Thank you Le Moulin Fouret owner & staff for yet another memorable stay with you.

Very helpful English speaking staff, made us very welcome and nothing too much trouble. Restaurant food was beautifully presented, served and excellent quality local fresh produce. Dogs were accommodated and we were directed to a traffic free walkway along the stream. The hotel was full of character and individuality, rooms a little on the small side but perfectly suitable for a short stay and the bed was comfortable a lovely stay. Parking on site.

No aircon, although there was a fan in the rooms. We would not visit this hotel in the summer months, our visit was in December so not a problem.

For the time of the year the duvet was very warm and found we were. Sleeping on top of the duvet. Dinner was a gourmet delight. Breakfast good but not really very filling. Staff were very good and helpful. Our French is very bad but they spoke very good English. Loved the quiet and the location.

Duvet was too thick for the time of the year. Apart from that it was an excellent hotel.

Location was lovely! Gorgeous grounds. Bed was big and comfy..spacious bathroom. Restaurant set menu was great...and we were allowed to take out well behaved dog as well!

The toilet light came on automatically...which may seem helpful but not when you want to get up in the night! Also, the flush was really noisy. Breakfast was a little underwhelming for the price.

Fantastic location, comfortable rooms, great food

The gardener started blowing leaves and mowing the grass early in the morning. I found the wine options fairly expensive. It says they speak English, however the frontdesk does not. Not a big deal, but please don’t say you do if your main person of contact only speaks French. She was lovely though! And maybe it is time to add airconditioning to the rooms, it was fairly warm.
