Excellent location, with a private beach 3 minutes downhill walk from the room. Not crowded, quiet. For those who seek a shadow it might be rather hot. A very large room, perfectly air conditioned ( quiet!), very large bathroom and shower/tub. The bed was very big and comfortable. Sea view. The food was tasty, and kudos for the pastries chef- fantastic deserts!! Fresh vegetables, and freshly squeezed juice. Champagne for those who are interested:-) very friendly staff! The room is super clean and checked twice a day. Parking space aplenty-right on front of the entrance ( and we drive every day, and in top season).

Didn’t like to be charged for water when dining ( you can ask for tap water and ice if you find it bothersome). High prices for the spa. Also, with all the justified compliments above, still too expensive, though we booked at the last minute.

We stayed at the Porto Elounda Golf & Spa Resort as a family of 4 (kids aged 8 and 11), and really enjoying their Premium Junior Suite with Shared Pool. The suite was brand new, with a spacious layout, luxury bathroom, and a terrace that opened directly to a serene semi-private pool, overlooking the beautiful bay Included breakfast each morning was great, freshly squeezed juices, hot/cold selections, pastries and fruits Dinner brought loads choices across the resort's restaurants, but we selected the half-board buffet: delicious, new choice each evening, and convenient with kids. Staff were incredibly attentive, and the sunset ambiance was magical.

The kids shared a convertible sofa bed in the main bedroom - gave limited privacy. We would have preferred the aircon to be a little cooler during the summer nights for sleeping.

Well spaced out facilities. Lovely and comfortable sun loungers and nicely positioned and spaced out ! Very polite and friendly staff .

If I had one criticism it was the breakfast quality. No fresh cooking stations although you could ask for an omelette (which we wasn’t made aware off and discovered on day 4) ! Most 5 star breakfast buffets would offer smoked salmon which was never offered here . Everything else was fresh and lovely.

From the 1st evening we arrived and saw the view from our room, we were excited for our stay. We woke early the next morning and watched the sunrise from our bed. Breakfast was so good, catering for every option and it never got boring during our 10 stay. Staff here, at reception, the spa, and at the beach were fantastic and added to our whole experience. We visited the spa on the one day it rained, and i had the best massage I've ever had. Staff at the Spa were wonderful. We booked at Elias on Opa night and had such a fun night with the traditional greek music and dancing and delicious buffet. We were thankful every day, sitting by the beach and the tranquillity of the exclusive beach and surrounding areas. Our trip exceeded our expectations, and we have had so much interest from family and friends who have seen our photos. We will definitely be back.

If we had to be picky, then the shower in our Porto Sea view room was not 5 star quality. We were surprised given everything met 5 star expectations. It was small and not a power shower. Not a negative, but there were two routes to walk down to the beach, along with the caddy lift. But we only found the quicker and more scenic walk by accident. A map highlighting this at the start of our stay would have been useful. Neither of the above would deter us from reccomending or booking again.

The resort was very clean. It had a nice beach front. The staff it's superfriendly. Every morning you can see the sunrise and in the evening the moonrise. The view from the rooms is amazing! I recommend the italian restaurant "Il Borro" - don't forget that you need to make an reservation (only for dinner).

Almost half of the rooms are renovated, and half not. You should know this before booking. I don't recommend the rooms with swimming pools. The pool is not that private, nor clean (we were staying in the "old" building). With the extra money You could get an extra treatment at the Six Senses Spa. It's a little bit expensive.

It was great! The location, the facilities and the easy access to the beach were just perfect. The room, spacious enough and the shared swimming pool was just a bliss. The spa was amazing and the classes offered by the lovelies teachers, Grit and Vasilis. All the restaurants and the quality of food were excellent and as well the highly trained staff and most importantly the kindness and genuine service. The staff at the beach so attentive and kind and ahead of everything, but never intrusive. Oleksanfer, Gianni, and all the staff were amazing. The concierge and reception, Poppy, Litza and Zoe made our stay more enjoyable. The surprise at the airport once we left, to have a meet and assist service and to facilitate the check in process with priority was just the cherry on top, in order to make the experience once again great. Everyone shared love and support at all times. Grateful for the experience and can’t wait to go back!

We loved the view from the rooms and the pool area. Staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a very large selection.

Most expensive meals and amenities of our entire trip in Greece. 10 Euro per day to use the Nespresso machine in your room. For the price of the rooms - I think including half board would be appropriate.

The views, pool and beach facilities, the overall quality.

It was a long walk to get anywhere on the property- room to breakfast, room to beach etc.

The beach and the sea are amazing. Great facilities and the kids loved the kids club. Very helpful staff at the beach bar especially Despina. The breakfast buffet was also really good with fresh food.

Our room was a bit noisy at night with some kind of water tank/heater close by. AC in the room could be better

This is a lovely little resort in a stunning seaside setting with a superb spa attached. We booked a private pool room with a sea view which was fun if a bit extravagant. The staff here are a big plus...everyone is so hardworking, friendly and helpful. The Reception team were super: Nancy, Alex and Katrina made every effort to make our stay a pleasure, and Eliie the Spa Director was charming and welcoming. We were lucky to be there when their visiting practitioner Suraj Varma was giving treatments all month. He is an Ayurvedic specialist and his treatments were a highlight of our stay. He just intuitively knows what's wrong and how to fix it...my back felt like new after an hour's massage! The breakfast is beautifully presented and generous, with a huge range of offerings from traditional Greek pastries, creamy yogurt and fresh fruits to made-to-order omelets, crepes, and pancakes and lots of healthy fresh seafood and home-baked bread as well. The coffee is potent and made to order so you can have anything from an iced latte to a double espresso. The dining options are varied. The food at the main beach bar, Elis, could be better but it's not bad, just not very exciting or very GReek. Best options are fresh seafood. There are lots of activities and water sports. We chartered a boat for a couple of hours and our captain took us out for a wonderful cruise to a secluded swimming spot with crystal clear water where we could snorkel. We also rented a car which the hotel arranged at a very good price. The sightseeing is good but the hotel was so pleasant we spent a lot of time just relaxing and hanging out. It's a brilliant option if youre looking for a beach break with the benefit of an exceptional spa. Also there are themed evenings featuring local music and folk dance which were fun.

The allowance of two small complimentary water bottles per day in the mini fridge seems a bit minimal. The cuisine could be more authentically Greek.
