I loved the location, the facilities, the staff, they all added to the experience.

They should fill up what you have used in the room, I.e., water as it was hot, shower gell, etc. And they should also change the sheets daily.

Cleanliness , quietness calmness , everything about it.

The depth of the pool.

The breakfast was good; wish the menu had more options and variety to choose from. Loved the views, esthetics and cleaniness of the place. Enjoyed the privacy and friendly staff. Overall really had a great experience

The breakfast options were very limited in terms of the food and drink variety. Additionally 100% juice and coffee made from real coffee beans would have been nice but otherwise everything else was up to standard.

The guesthouse is in a secluded estate, in the heart of the bush (animals walking by), room big, hugh shower, very good breakfast.

There were many things we think must be added to this room: A barrier between the shower and the bathroom (water is splashing everywhere), the glass window from the shower to the outside is completely transparent and eventhough there's a fence outside it still felt unpleasant, no door between bathroom and bedroom, no bins, the curtains are not obscured so you wake up at first light, no fridge, sockets for electricity behind the bed and difficult to reach. The price is too expensive and does not justify the place.

Breakfast was lovely - especially the pancakes. Eating upstairs outdoors on the patio with the birds and animals coming by to say hi was really special and peaceful. Coffee was great and things were plentiful and well made. The gardens were so carefully and beautifully designed and the little tiny pool was perfect for cooling off in the heat. Rooms were also so spacious and well appointed, and the bath was huge. The outdoor shower and beautifully designed bathroom was really what made it feel like such a treat.

nothing - it was hard for me to move around as a solo traveller without a car and the manager Busisiwe went out of her way to ensure I got to places for food. Perhaps a little more shaded options by the pool, but I could have asked for this at the time!

The location of the property was a bliss. The rooms are spacious and super clean and comfortable. The host even took us to the complex because we didn’t have a car ☺️😍

They don’t allow coolerbox and informed us late.

I booked our room because of the pictures I saw of the bathroom and I was pleased to see that the pictures did not lie. It was an absolute treat to have breakfast outside while seeing wild animals just walking past. The main star of Gem in the Bush is the staff, very attentive, very willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The drain in our shower was not draining well which resulted in the scum floating up with the water. We also didn't have bins in our room so we struggled with disposing of our waste from snacks etc.
