We enjoyed our stay in one of the new beachfront tiny home type container structures. Modern, compact and well laid out. One side is all mirrored glass that takes in a panoramic view of the entire bay and waterfront. Awesome. Glass is mirrored so nobody can see inside even at night with all lights on inside. Very cool. There are NO curtains. Bring eyeshades for sleeping or ask at the desk. In July sunset at 2300 and dawn came at 0400 so eyeshades were critical and worked fine. I wish I had more electrical outlets and WiFi signal was weak at times. Plumbing was modern and worked fine even though a bit unconventional in the tiny house format. We liked the super large deck. Hot tub and outdoor shower were a plus. Plenty of privacy indoors and out from the surrounding campground resort cabin format. Lots of kids and families which we enjoyed as grandparents 7 times over. It is a grown up KOA more than a Club Med type resort. Big beach area but water is 60f and too cold for us and we love swimming. Plenty of nice hikes. No bugs. Walk to nearby marina village, rock scramble to lighthouse and ferry terminal through the Woods Walk were highlights. Breakfast buffet was good, a few more egg offerings would have been appreciated. Get there early for best selection. 2 attendants tried to keep up with demand maybe add a third person. Waiting for coffee is always painful. We bussed to and from Mariehamn and connections are limited. A midnight ferry departure left us hanging around the resort well beyond checkout but the staff was welcoming and stored our luggage which was very kind. All staff spoke English as my Swedish is terrible.

Remember it’s more KOA campground than Club Med. we liked our modern tiny home beachfront but some cabins looked quite dated and could be far from the waterfront.

Another great holiday at Käringsund resort. Perfect for a family trip for a week with children aged between 11-15. Special thanks and respect to the beach shed crew serving customers with so many activities. Especially the water sports man was so kind, friendly and professional with the kids. Much appreciated for the service. Nice weekly program for activities with children.

Of course it is much more expensive than the nearby camping ground but still definitely worth it.

Pleasant, sprawling vacation resort. We had a comfy duplex cabin back on a quiet lane. We drove around. If you stay for a while get bicycles. Accommodating: we rented canoe out of season. They helped. Multiple food choices. Pizza good.

Pretty good location, with nature all around. The cottage was clean and comfortable with lot of space to move around. Resort also has various facilities for outdoor activities.

Nothing worth mentioning, its pretty far from Mariehamn if you do not have your own vehicle.

The location of the resort is awesome. Near the beach with a lot of facilities. Beautiful area. Recommended!

Clean, comfortable cabin. All you need in a cabin was there and we even got our own sauna.

Great resort that organises some sports challenges throughout the year. The bungalow where we stayed was very comfortable, well equipped and perfect for our family of 4. It is only a 15 min. walk from the Grisslehamn - Eckerö ferry.

If you prefer self-catering, then make sure to pack some groceries as shops are few and at a distance.
