The location is ok, near the sea. The hotel and the surroundings are very well kept, there are two pools, a playground, loyts of flowers! We had half board and we were extremely satisfied by the diversity and quality of food!

The so called beach is a stone area, where you can get a chair for 6 euros. It is not the hotel's fault, this is the way the shore is in that area. For a real beach you should walk a little bit. You definitely need a car to reach the hotel, we haven't seen any bus around.

The hotel is very nice, 1 room is a bit too small for 3 adults, the beds were pretty comfortable. Breakfast + dinner are great, there is something for everyone. The hotel is about 30 min walk away from the Poreč city center. Was a plus for me but a minus for my parents.

The bathroom was not as clean as it should be.

Firs of all I want to thank for a good atmosphere that your command creates in the hotel.We have spent wondeful 10 days of relaxing , resting sleeping and eating, enjoying. But as Mr. Putin said there is some notes.Some parents of small baby don't understand their responsibility before other people they surrounded. If their baby didn't wear a pamper, they obligate to clean spots of shit on the floor around child swimming pool by themselves. It's my opinion.

The room was clean, and the temperature inside was perfect. The hotel offered a fantastic program with plenty of daily activities for both adults and children. The music program at night was truly enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, from the reception to the waiters, to the cleaning ladies and pool staff – they really made a difference in our experience. The food was also a highlight, with a great variety each day, offering something different and catering to various tastes. The location is great and tranquil, though it is a bit far from Porec if you decide to walk. However, there are multiple convenient ways to get to Porec, so it’s not a problem.

The pool was overcrowded, and many guests reserved multiple sunbeds as early as 7 am. By the time we arrived, there were no spots left. It would be better if the hotel allocated two sunbeds per room and kept them reserved until the guests arrived, to make it more organized.

Great location right on the beach front, pool also there. Lots of shady spots for setting up with your blanket, or sunbed. Food was good for dinner, drinks included. Room was ok with balcony, small but had everything you'd need including A/C. Beds were comfy. Large, spacious lobby with air conditioning and a gift shop. Big carpark with easy access. Midday meal for kids was a pleasant surprise. All in all, we had a nice stay and might come back again. But there is room for improvement.

Breakfast could be better, the food for breakfast seemed to be low quality. Especially the ham and meat. Coffee for breakfast was a disaster, fortunately you could order proper coffee at the bar later. Staff extremely slow at the beach bar, took them forever to make a coffee, or tost. Not very friendly either. The only professional staff were at the reception desk.

Hotel has a great location but rooms are too small, only 17m squared. It is sometimes difficult to pass by another person. However, the rooms are neat and clean and good positioned with beautiful view to sea if the option is chosen. There are some larger rooms but we could not get one as these were booked already. Breakfast very good and service also top with no complaints there.

There was some malfunction on elevators which got German tourists mad. One more thing that could be done is to bring more tables to the area outside as most of the tourist early morning and late evening enjoy seating outside on the porch area.

Extremely large and spaceful hotel, providing wide selection of all-taste food, two swimming pools for both children and adults and every night live music with different musical ensembles. Rooms are clean and have a nice sea view, however the pools are also clearly seen.

Hotel ist direkt near the seaside with an amazing parkt, so u have a possibility to stay in a shadow during the noon. Stuff was really nice and friendly. Breakfast and Dinner was very tasty and there was every time a big choice of meals.

Room was nice but a bitt too small. Unfortunately there was no fridge in Room, only with extra pay u could have fridge in room. I think it´s not ok for two reasons, first of all in such warm weather u need fridge in a hotel room. It´s not the thing of comfort, but just normality. Second, the price of hotel ist hight enough to be fridge included in Price. It would be good if the guests have such kind of information before booking and it won´t be unexpected surprise during check in.

Our stay at Hotel Materada Plava Laguna was amazing. It is not mentioned anywhere but this hotel has the best view on Porèc Village! Rooms were small but functional. Housekeeping team made a great job, over expectation, concerning our bedroom and public areas (and sea birds don't make their task easier). Restaurant team was friendly and efficient. Big-up to Vanessa! Food was tasty and various, not easy to achieve this for such a number of people every day! Thank you for the kind help of Sara at the front desk and the animation was super! My daughter had a great time with Adelina in the kids club and she wanted to go everyday - We loved the kids party and we are still training at home for Soco Bate Vida ;)

When traveling with small kids, night time is precious! Every night was live music and it was too loud. We booked a parc view room to be on the opposite / quiet side but we could still hear it very well. Getting a sun bed and an umbrella may be challenging after 10:00am same for having a table on the beautiful terrace in the evening in the restaurant!

I want to send special thanks to the hotel's actiivity team consisting of Angela. Nina, Eva, Christina, and Olivia with their team leader Maro at hotel Materada. They made our stay more enjoyable as they took great care of our kids which gave us, parents more time to rest and relax. They were able to communicate with our kids despite the language barriers, they made them feel comfortable and at ease. They had nice activities like dancing, drawing, singing etc. They even made the kids participate in a Snow White Show in front of the hotel guests ;) We were very proud parents. They also took care of us as they had a nice activity plan for the parents in the pool and outside the pool consisting of aqua aerobics, pilates, yoga and other activities. The instructors with their team leader Maro were very nice and they made exercise a fun experience for all not to mention the shows presented at the hotel by the pool every evening like the Hollywood show, The magician show, the trio singing event etc.....Special thanks to Angela who was very committed and wanted to make sure we are happy with our stay and asked our opinion and what we can suggest to improve the activities team's role at the hotel.
