The property is absolutely beautiful! We loved the view of the Hood canal and being able to see seals and otters every day! Not too far from Shelton so in case your forget anything it’s easy to fix!

We had the deluxe 2 bedroom suite and although it’s VERY spacious it is situated right underneath the stairwell for the upstairs rooms. The amount of stomping and talking was a lot at night and early in the morning. They also have black out curtains on every window except the one in the bedroom that faces the front where there are always lights on. All night long. Staff was ok but seem a little overwhelmed on busy weekends. For the amount we paid it shouldn’t have ever gotten to a point where we had to hunt down toilet paper and trash bags but it did. Just needs a little more stocking up or at least have staff check on what’s needed during long stays.

During our stay at the waterfront, we were impressed by the rooms level of cleanliness and comfort. It was well appointed, the towels were spotlessly clean , and the tv had lots of options. Fridge was also working , and our room came equipped with a microwave for heating up stuff. The view was spectacular, providing a excellent view of the canal. The staff was present, and ready to help at a moments notice, and provided friendly, hospitable service.

The only thing (which due to physical constraints of where it is located, which is by a road) cant be helped. It is by a road and you will hear cars in the room due to the location. At night , the noise tends to be less as there is less traffic at night. As a personal recommendation for light sleepers, bring a pair of noise canceling headphones.

Oh my goodness what can I say!! Just the most perfect, peaceful, wonderful hotel. We were in a king suite, a beautiful room with a lovely balcony looking over the canal. We sat out there for hours. Couldn't recommend enough! We read some reviews about the noise but we honestly didn't even notice it when in bed - also as a note, the bed was sooooo comfy and massive!!! Just the best night sleep! Thank you so much for a lovely stay and if you are thinking about booking, do! You won't regret it!!

The staff are super helpful and friendly. We were in room 27 which has an area with some nice soft comfy chairs, a fake fireplace, and a large TV. We were pleasantly surprised how large our room was! I think the rooms on the bottom floor are larger than the 2nd floor units based on seeing it from the back. The second floor units have a balcony you can sit on to enjoy the view. Seals frequent the area so be on the look out! We arrived a bit late and called ahead to let them know. He turned on the heat in our room to make it all nice and warm before we arrived. The room was nice, clean, larger than a typical room which was perfect for our family of 4. Access to the water is super easy as there are steps right into the water but there is no sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again and make this a yearly family tradition during the Christmas season! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We look forward to returning!

No complaints! Everything was lovely!

We were given the friendliest reception from the lady who greeted us, which was a perfect start. The room was spacious, well equipped and stylish. The location is great, with a view of the lake. A huge shout-out to Mike, who drove the backpack I had left behind all the way to SeaTac and then refused any payment for his time, trouble and kindness. This was truly above and beyond, and turned what could have been a disaster, given that all our holiday documents, money and my laptop were in the backpack, into a very positive experience. His attitude was truly outstanding.

We only stayed two nights, which was a bit too short to enjoy the area properly.

Great location on the water with great views! Easy check in, & staff was very kind & caring. We appreciated that they had quiet hours enforced to make sure their guests aren't disturbed. Very thoughtful!! Room was cute & updated & decorated well.

The road noise is unavoidable since it's close to the highway but luckily, wearing earplugs & having 2 fans helped to drown it out. And I think they forgot to clean the shower since a handful of long black hair was left on the tile wall, but I understand if they forgot. Everyone's human- I forget things too, so it's ok. :-)

A very tidy, watefront motel with separate cabins & RV park. The shower was hot & welcoming, the large bed soft & comfortable, the fridge & microwave convenient, the TV brought in plenty of channels, the sofa plush & coffee table nicely placed, parking just outside, & with a selection of tea (thanks for not forgetting tea drinkers!) amongst the usual Keurig coffee options. But waking up with a spectacular sunrise over the water was the frosting on the cake!

No complaints, but since you ask second, then place complaints first in reviews (Hey Booking, why be negative straight out of the gate!?) I thought the proximity to Highway 101 would be a problem, but it was actually subdued throughout the night.

What a fabulous location for a one-night stop off. Lovely views from room, ideal for our small family & very clean. Helpful & friendly staff on arrival.

Sadly we had a terrible night's sleep because of other guests in the motel - really inconsiderate people in adjoining rooms making noise until past 1am. Obviously this wasn't the fault of the motel, however rather than suggesting people need to consider it's an older building & to be quiet - it could be stated any loud noise after 10pm that results in complaints means a loss of deposit!

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Quick response to questions and requests. The property is big, and right on the waterfront, Was nice to take a walk along the water and stretch our legs. The room was BIG, a balcony to enjoy the outside, kitchenette, sofa, large bathroom. Very relaxing surroundings. Laundry available and a game room, very nice.

That we didn't plan to stay here longer.

Location on Hood Canal was excellent. Low tide in the morning allowed us a walk on the beach, watching seals go for oysters and fish. Staff was very helpful giving us ideas given we couldn’t hike in the NP due to the fires in the area. Room was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the canal. Some good restaurant choices in the area.
