Bed was quite comfortable. View of the Washington Monument was good. Room was very quiet. Water pressure was really good and all four of us had hot showers. Breakfast ($23pp) was excellent for what we needed. Everyone working at the hotel was very nice and helpful.

We paid significantly (over $40) more through Booking.com than we would have paid if we had just shown up at the hotel and booked a room for the night (this was really frustrating!!). Room was dated (cracked paint in the bathroom and some mildew in the corner of the bathroom). It is not in the best area, but we only stayed here as a layover for a repositioning flight (and there was a great and reliable shuttle to the airport). We also were unable to get Bonvoy points. I wish I would have just booked directly through the hotel.

The Staff are excellent always happy to help whenever they asked. The provision of the shuttle to the Reagan Airport and the Metro were a necessary addition and made the stay very easy and supportive. The Buffet breakfast was outstanding.

Some of the decor is starting to look tired; some of the repaired/renovated work is not as good as it could be giving some rooms a patchy look

Parking was included in my rate, but the hotel tried to charge me an extra $32.00 a day. When I inquired about the charge the front desk corrected the situation immediately. We were able to park in the surface lot with the hotel shuttle and a tour bus (or five) as our truck was too tall to fit in the garage. This made things so easy! The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly! The bartender was funny and provided insights into the area. The bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was hot!

The breakfast was $25 per person - the food was not hot and the coffee was cold. I was able to clearly hear the guests in the room above me and next two me, I was able to drown them out with the TV.

Clean and quiet. Free shuttle to local mall where you can catch the metro anywhere.

Area is not very walkable.

I liked the room view, the cleanliness, the staff. Private parking is also an advantage. Definitely recommend.

I can not understand why you should pay for WiFi? When you pay $400+ for a room, would it be normal to ask you to pay an extra $10 for a quality internet connection??... This is simply disappointing for such a hotel, at such a price. That is a shame.

The staff was exceptional. I had an accident on the 2nd morning of our stay. After 9+ hours in the ER we came back to the hotel. The front desk was unable to get me a handicapped room but brought me a commode to put over our toilet so I would be able to use it. The bartenders - 2 nights in a row got us food at a late hour and even split it for us. So kind!! Our breakfast servers both days were attentive and helpful. The morning after my accident they felt so bad that my vacation was ruined they bought me breakfast. The BEST staff of any of the hotels we stayed in on our 10 day vacation.

Staff was super friendly. Upgraded us to a room with an awesome view to the city. Parking was easy, covered, and with plenty of spots with direct access to the hotel. Good location with easy access to the highway. Room space was bigger than the average hotels.

The bathroom is small, and the shower was not warming the water properly. The coffee machine was not good. And the hotel is overall old, but we'll maintain.

I like that the room is a spacious, clean and comfortable bed. All the staff are welcoming. I also like the location and free shuttle service to the shopping mall and metro station.

Breakfast is not included in the room rates.

The room was huge, very comfortable and well equipped. It was clean and perfect for a good night of sleep. We also appreciated that the hotel has a parking and you don't have to drive through DC since it is located outside of the city.

Reaching the hotel with public transportation from DC Union Station is quite long (over 50 minutes), while it is only 15 minutes by car, so be ready to take taxis. Also, the neighborhood around the hotel is not very lively, there are no bars or restaurant close bye (just something to be aware of).

This hotel still maintains an upscale charm. Cleanliness was not an issue. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

The property is teetering on the line of being an excellent hotel to just an average hotel. While the hotel was super clean the facilities and some of the amenities were not fully functional. For starters the bathroom shower mechanism was extremely hard to operate and needs some TLC. The gym had a few machines that simply did not work. And the pool was not open due to reasons undisclosed to us (I’m assuming for maintenance.)
