There's a construction next to my room. That made me feel uncomfortable.

Very quiet place to chill. Food and cocktails were lovely.

Being an older lady I just thought it was a little run down. The walk up the steps to the pool and restaurant area needs fixing ( hand rails to the right ) and some of the decking was very worn out .. the area by the smaller pool should really all be decked because when it rained .. it poured and saturated the grass making it unsafe. The room are much smaller than they appear but comfortable but also just needs a bit of updating. The shower was more of a trickle than a shower , so again could do with a bit of an update. I did however grow to love it x Staff were all sooo lovely x x

The location was excellent, not in the city but 2 minutes on a scooter to access. The restaurant was perfect. We are there a lot and did not have a bad meal. The signature cocktails were to die for! The fish cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the taco salad! The hot chips were the best I’ve ever had. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking at any time of day. We watched a man work the field below with a water buffalo (caribou). The family villa was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was functional and luxurious with river stones in the shower. The staff were incredibly accommodating. The two pools were an added touch of luxury, especially the one down near the field. I went to surf lessons at Cloud 9 which is just around the corner. There is scooter hire across the road to make things easy. I will stay here again if I come to Siargao in the future.

The only thing that would make it better is if the resort could arrange tuk tuk and transfers.

Had a very short stay at the Hillside Resort and spent a day/night there with my family. We were pleasantly surprised at how accommodating they were considering our very short stay. Brought us an extra mattress at no charge and an extra fan straight away as our ceiling fan was under maintenance. The pools are so relaxing and beautiful! Probably one of the best in island. The location is slightly away from the main area with all the shops and restaurants so perfect if you want a quiet getaway and ideal to have a scooter to move around if you are staying here. Will definitely be back! Thank you Hillside Resort and your incredible staff 🙂

The employees where super nice and accomodating. Rooms where great, coming into the Resort felt a bit like a Jungle Adventure. Overall the Landscaping in and around the Place was beatiful. Food and Drinks in the Restaurant were also great, especially the Coffee (Spanish Lattes)

The deck around the pool was slowly falling into a bit of disrepair because of the wet weather

Good amenities and all the food we had at the restaurant was exceptional and had big serving. Sisig was our personal favorite.

The rooms were kind of old, the exhaust fam from the toilet did not work and both shower heads were leaking (spraying to other direction). The doors from the balcony do not completely close so the bugs tend to go in but the bed has mosquito nets so all good.

We love the food, pool area are so relaxing, and the ambience and all the green are eyes can laid on.

On our first night we stayed in a room full of faulty facilities such as: toilet ventilation, telephone, TV, some lights in the shower area, faucet. Good thing they set it right the next day and let us moved to the next room. Another thing, the resort doesn't have enough beach towels or even towels to give.

Rooms are beautiful & staff is very accommodating and friendly. Property is in a good location and quiet.

AC is not strong and power outages cause it to turn off. Lots of greenery outside the rooms attracts lots of bugs.

location is a little removed from general luna which is nice, still close to amenities but feels quite secluded even though its still close to the city centre

There was construction on the second pool so we couldnt use it, but the first pool was good enough, The jacuzzi was also under renovation so we couldnt use that but still a great stay :)

This place is amazing! It is showing some age cosmetically but we loved it regardless. Location was perfect! Food was amazing! Staff was friendly! They even upgraded us and communicated flawlessly ❤️.

The shower head wasn’t working well but the hand held did just fine!
