Location great (once you found it 😂) efficient polite staff, exceptional breakfast, bright quiet room and good shower room

Difficult to find - not hotel’s fault but the endless construction that is Stuttgart

Clean and spacious room with good double bed. Full amenities (towels, linen etc.) provided with ensuite WC and shower. Within the room are small fridge. Within easy walking distance for central and famous sights of the city. Close to main train station (5 mins walking distance) and in a quite area of the city (university and hospital grounds nearby). Variety of cafes, mini-shops/food stores and restaurants close by around the train station. There is food supplied, a vending machine for small things and a bar within the premises. Green policy applied on linen use and collection (in my case was a daily one). Generally good value for money among other options, a quality choice although near the central area of the city! The management team is kind and prompt to reply either through through e-means or by phone, so feel free to ask anything but be advised on the customer service hours when in person.

At least for my case and my room given, I think it could have more lights in it and small issues like water dripping from the sink or the shower could be easily resolved since they are typical.

Mirage City Hotel Stuttgart is conveniently within a 5 minute walk from the Stuttgart Main Train station. The staff was friendly and easily accommodated to either my attempts to speak German, or if that didn't work English. The rooms were very clean and the bedroom and bathroom furnishings modern. Breakfast with a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, rolls, salamis, cheese, coffee, and fruit juices was worth the extra 15 euros.

There is presently a lot of construction going on in Stuttgart and the pedestrian passageways which wind around the construction sites can lead you in a completely different direction than you intended to go. Although the hotel is fairly close to the Train station, I ended up taking 10 minutes walks in 3 different directions before I finally found it. I arrived in the late morning before normal check in time and the staff cleaned the room and let me check in earlier than they had initially said. However, they did not leave an upper bed sheet, something I didn't notice until I was ready to go to bed that evening. I also thought it strange that the bedspread was for a single bed rather than the larger bed in the room.

Bathroom was pretty nice and clean! Stuff was pretty kind and friendly. Location is perfect. 5 minutes walking from the train main station. You can go by stairs to the hotel and if you are not into stairs, you can go around and walk about 4-5 minutes longer. And you can go to the center for about 10-15 minutes on foot.

Room wasn't in good condition. It was clean on the first look, but there's was no general light in the room and we needed to go far into room to turn on the light. And switch from one lamp was literally broken. There was something sticky below the bed and I was barely able to wash it from my hand. My part of bed was uncomfortable and ready to be recycled, but other part was okay.

We stayed in two different rooms due to adding on a day to our visit. The first one was a cheaper one and a bit dated, but still fine. The second one, a bit more expensive but quite reasonable, is really nice--very roomy, bright, and up-to-date. Breakfast is simple but good. They made us eggs to order one morning and had some yummy muesli, as well as a selection of meats and cheeses and breads, yogurt, etc. A spacious breakfast room. The clerks are friendly and helpful.

The only thing we really did not like was the see-through door to the bathroom in the cheap room (first floor). I have never stayed in a hotel where someone in the bedroom could clearly see the person using the toilet or shower. And there was little in the way of temperature control in the cheap room, so we got too warm at night. The second room (second floor), however, was great.

I liked the location: very near train station & restaurants. Nice and clean. I liked the shower. Guled, the desk clerk, was exceptionally helpful, kind, thoughtful and interesting. I would stay there again.

The bed felt like it sloped and that I could slide out if I didn’t hug the wall. The first couple of desk clerks didn’t know that I could charge my phone from the tv set. So I spent the morning going to Starbucks, the public library and cafes looking for a place to charge my iPhone. Complete waste of a few hours when it could have been charged overnight while I slept.

The breakfast was not cheap but is was good . The guy on the desk when we arrived was very friendly.

We had to ask for towels and they were damp ( not the guy on the desks fault ) The man on reception the next day was not very friendly . There were people talking just outside until late , the walls were quite thin so the whole place felt noisy

The hotel was in excellent proximity to the train station. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was a great value for the price. We arrived for the European Championships, and the hotel was the perfect easy stay for the match!

There is no A/C in the room, which is fairly common in Germany, and the room did come with a fan (so we were fine, but this might be a concern for those visiting later in summer). Google maps will tell you to reach the hotel via several flights of stairs, but there is another route up the next street that is a slope instead. :)

We could park our car in front of the hotel for 11 euro per day (ticket machine on the sidewalk), which was OK. The staff was friendly, but I wouldn't say they were paying a lot of attention to us. The rooms are very big, and the bathrooms are unnecessaray big. The hotel is ca. 7 minutes walk from the entrance of the main train station and Koennigsstrasse.

The rooms will need renovation soon.

The breakfast was not bad, though not many choices, but we like the egg-to-order omelets the caterer provided for us. The room was clean, and the toilet and bathroom were good. Lighting in the room was good 👍 Good value for your money for a night stop

Used towel in the bathroom but was later provided with a new one upon request. No heating kettle to make tea or AC. The curtain was broken and did not cover the windows very well.
