The hotel has a great location. It was very, very quiet in there and it is close to a forest. Our room (and I think many other rooms too) had a view of the forest and we saw no buildings around from the window which was very relaxing. The food at the restaurant was also very good and the staff was friendly. We had a supper in the evening as a gift from the hotel because we were asked to go to another Steiger hotel than the one I initially booked in June. It was not a problem for us because we had our car and this hotel Steiger was even closer to the Bastei bridge we wanted to visit. We could also use the sauna for free but we arrived later in the evening and had no time for it. When we arrived at the room, we also had a bottle of white wine and bottle of mineral water as another complimentary gift of the hotel. Thank you so much! It was a lovely gesture by your side. <3

Only one thing in particular was not so good for us: there was no net on the window and it was warm in the room. We wanted to leave a window open for fresh air but there was a mosquito that came through it. It would have been great if there would be something on the window that holds them back because I think we weren't the only one having this issue.

Great breakfast, more like a brunch, very well maintained upscale building, great location right by the Central square and restaurants.

Dinner and breakfast were included and good. The rooms are very big and offer all the comfort you need.

The elevator was under construction when we arrived and we had a discussion about using the elevator of the staff instead of schlepping our suitcases three floors up. Really unnecessary!

We were moved to Steiger in Rathen which is what this review is for. Amazing Hotel in a great location and with a great restaurant. Our view and terrace overlooking the Elbe was amazing. Really nice hotel.

A little hard to get to by car and some better English instructions would help.

Everything was just perfect! Great value for very friendly price. Cosy big room, amazing wellness, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Sloping ceiling in bedroom on 3rd floor, so a little awkward for tall people.

We were welcomed with politness and smile. We liked the staff friendliness. The restaurant served very tasty meals cooked to the perfection. The spa is immaculate and nicely designed which creates a very relaxing atmosphere.

Very beautiful hotel. Breakfast was great. Nicely decorated room but a bit chilly. Check in was fantastic. Felt welcomed.

Location not the best. Sauna area is very good but there wasn’t enough room for all of the guests.
