Spa bath, size of the room, employees were nice, breakfast had lots of selections from cold to hot food, the hot water is pretty hot, does have ac but make sure you ask how to turn it on, the hotel has lots of potential. I'm willing to stay again and see how it is after the renovations.

The hotel is a little outdated (apparently they are renovating), the TV does not have any smart features or access to any apps, the hotel is close to the beach so we could hear music from the booth across, was able to sleep though.

Brilliant staff, average accommodation, but great service! Awesome receptionists, Thayna, Maria and others...and great kitchen staff...great experience overall. If you are looking for a place that quiet, out of the hudtle and bustle of the big city of Rio, come stay here, and move around on the Ilha Governador or move from there to the rest of the city. Transport can be pricey so make friends with the hotel reception staff and they can recommend you a reliable Uber, Eduardo and his wonderful sister, Michelle at Hotel Plage. :-)

Nice spot right on the beach. Friendly staff , AC worked great. Good value.

Too Far from City

I like the location aside from that yoi Don't have that many options on Governador island.

ROOM: - bathroom didn't have hooks for bath towels only one for face towels. Sink was so small and there wasn't a bench so make up and everything else had to be put in the sink for support. - Bed mattress was too thin and soft that was like laying down straight on the bed support. BREAKFAST: - 6am to 9am is the breakfast time but 7:30 the french bread had already over. - All the fruits weren't ripped yet.
