It was a perfect stay. The property is away from the main roads and we were able to enjoy the tranquility of the nature. We stayed in #21 the traditional cottage, which was very clean, everything was new/renovated, comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels and a fully equipped kitchen overlooking the lake. It is an ideal location to be able to experience the fall colors - lots of hiking trails nearby and it is amazing just to drive around the Lake of Bays. Algonquin park is a reasonable drive away too (30-50 min). The staff was very helpful. You get extra amenities such a great playground for kids, game room, pool with hot tub and sauna. The firepit is great for socializing and mush mellows by the water. Thank you very much for a wonderful getaway!

The location was beautiful.Very peaceful,lots to do such as swimming,hot tub ,games room even though the weather didnt cooperate.Our cabin was cozy ,had everything we needed.The beds,even the sofa bed was comfortable.It was very clean and comfortable.We had many deer visitors and birds.

My only complaint was the pool was a little cool but didnt affect me swimming.The doors maybe from the difference in temperature had to be closed hard.

We stayed in unit 106. It had a nice view over the property and to the lake. The house was impeccably clean and my kids loved all the stuff they could do there - tubing hill, pool, games room. It was well located to Huntsville and Algonquin park.

The only things I didn’t really love were that the house had a slightly bad smell, the floor of the pool change rooms was a little gross and there was some note in the house saying we would be charged extra money if we didn’t take out our garbage. None of these are deal breakers and I’d happily go back, but considering the price you pay per night these were things I would expect to be better/covered.

We booked this (rather than other places) specifically because it said the second bedroom had two single beds. When we arrived it was a double and there were no properties available with single beds. There was a sofa bed in the lounge area - that was far from an ideal solution but better than nothing. The staff were apologetic and tried to find alternatives but there were none available. It was just a bit disappointing given the details provided when we booked.

We loved the pool, especially because we had two rain days! We didn't get to visit the games room because the kids were too busy with the pool. They loved the swamps and catching frogs! Loved seeing the wildlife. Beach furniture great quality and plenty for all. Water activities were awesome and lifejackets provided nice and in great shape.

An awning of some sort over the bbq would be nice so when it is raining you don't get soaked. (we were in Deerview). A picnic table at the cottage would also be nice to eat outside.

We had been here in summer and came back in fall, the cottage is very clean and spacious, very beautiful view in this season. The location is convenient, close to town and park, good facilities, nice staff. Definitely will be back again.

The mattress is comfortable but has noise, needs updating.

Loved the location and being on the beautiful lake. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Everyone at the resort is attentive and helpful. Our third stay there and we'll be back.

The geese have taken over the grounds. There is poop everywhere. This was the first time I've encountered them there. It is a problem and something needs to be done about it or the grounds will not be useable.

Size and layout of The Hilltop was great. very clean and warm. 2 Beds not comfortable-we rolled into the middle. Lovely pool saunaandhottub. Good gameroom. Lots of dining and kitchen space, and rooms for activities. Great fireplace and wood supply.

More cooking equipment, a second rack in oven. DVD player didn’t work well and controller needed batteries.

Excellent location and fantastically set up for a family vacation. Canoe's, paddle boats, kids sand toys, recliner beach chairs, umbrellas etc. all included in the accomodation. Private beach was a major bonus with sand and a flat area for kids to play safely without getting in other guests way. Extremely well kept with the sand being raked daily, very clean pool and facilities.

There is no on-site shop so you must come prepared.

Such a pretty spot on Lake of Bays. Saw many deer and wildlife everywhere. Beach is stunning. Nice and close to Huntsville.

Water pressure in the rooms was very low. Lots of hot water but no pressure in sink or shower.
