I was looking for something in Normandy close to the D-Day beaches and I wasn't really expecting much. However, I was blown away. The host Nicolas and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great - home-made yoghurt, local cheeses and fresh croissants. You could sense the history of the place. The villa was quiet and peaceful, the rooms were spacious and the bonus were the farm animals. I wish we'd stayed longer.

Spacious and well-equipped room that was really nicely furnished. Very kind and warm-hearted hosts that made sure that we would feel welcome. Quiet and peaceful place with a lovely garden where you can sit and relax. The communal kitchen offered everything you need to cook. Great breakfast with a nice atmosphere. And above all: all the lovely animals we got to know!

We would have liked to stay longer!

Beautiful home and Nicholas and family so welcoming. We were very comfortable with plenty of pancakes for breakfast together with lots of home made breads and jams. Very convenient for Cherbourg but also for great sightseeing along the Normandy coastline We loved our stay!❤️

We loved everything !!

Spacious, nicely decorated room, and excellent breakfast. Good location just half an hour from the ferry terminal. Lovely deep bath with plenty of hot water.

Lighting in bathroom poor - difficult to see well in mirror. Also quality of towels did not match up to the quality of everything else

Location was good 20 mins from Cherbourg port. Staff were great , really friendly and breakfast was excellent. Home made bread ,pancakes ,jams,yogurt and chocolate pots- it’s worth a visit. Children would be delighted with the goats a pig ,chickens and a duck. There is also a kitchen if you want to cook an evening meal or you can go to Barfleur (5km) where there are plenty of restaurants

It’s perfect as it is

Beautiful house and garden and an extremely hospitable host. Breakfast was delicious, and the children enjoyed petting the goats and pig! Good location from which to explore the local area.

nice residence, wellcoming owners, nice breakfast in a cosy place,spacius room and clean, everything was trully magnificent!!!

The room was large and offering full comfort, nicely designed, convivial breakfast was largely sufficient and the owners and communication with them just a cherry on the cake.

Quirky, felt like a home. The decor was excellent. Loved the animals. Breakfast was homemade and plentiful.

Upstairs room but we were aware of this when we booked.
