Wonderful reception by host Phillipe. The studio is set in the lovely garden of the main house. Very peaceful location. Own transport is necessary to get to and from Cherbourg but only a short and easy journey. Very comfortable accommodation with exceptional collection of vintage guitars, objects dart and even a record player with selection of vinyl. No TV required.

Perfect for self catering with good coffee. No breakfast option so be sure to take your own snacks and supplies.

wonderful people Philippe and Claire are perfect helpful hosts. Pickup from the station on a cold rainy night after a late train, then organised a lift to the airport. excellent breakfast. Immaculate room, could not ask for more. We will return!

What a wonderful find! We loved staying here and can't recommend it enough to anyone. The hosts were very friendly and talked with us regarding their beautiful home and collection of musicial instruments and artefacts. The room was very comfortable and quiet and was a 10 minute car ride to the Cherbourg ferry port. Breakfast was delicious with local specialities of bread, fruit, cheese and meats. Such a delight and made our last night in France really special.

Very cozy place. It was just a night stay before a ferry trip, booked 30 minutes before to arrive there, but is a nice place to spend a holiday to visit the Normandy. I already have the plan to do it. The area is more than definition of "quiet", even my thoughts were very loud in that place. The hosts are very kind and helpful.

Host was very welcoming. Accommodation was fantastic, and a real mix of furnishings which added to the charm and character of the stay. Hundreds of fascinating objects created a super cosy environment. Secure parking.

I am of a certain age and got a little warm at night. A fan would have been nice, but it did not spoil the stay.

First of all, some of the nicest people I've ever met. The place was wonderfully quirky and tasteful. Lots of really interesting things which was a lovely reflection of the couple who owned them. The building connected to the lighthouse which we also visited.

Nothing much not to like really except the place was a little outside of Cherbourg but that would really be splitting hairs.

The hotel itself was a particularly beautiful building. The location of the hotel was in the countryside. Very peaceful. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The owners could not do for me. They even drove me into the main town and collected me. The breakfast is excellent and really sets you up for day. The property is very retro and incredibly interesting. It is in the countryside and nearest pub is only 2 kilometres away.

This was one of the nicest places we have ever been. The interior was exceptionally tasteful and a little quirky. Claire is a lovely host, very helpful and charming. We will definitely try to come back and recommend tge place to our friends.
