Very convenient to the centre of town and the railway station (<10 min walk). Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and they produce a good breakfast. We came back very late one night and there was no problem getting back into the hotel. In summary a very good relatively inexpensive hotel which is well situated and within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Bassano del Grappa is on the river, beautiful views, excellent museums, very good eating and drinking and above all hospitable - see photos.

Nothing to say - it was all good|!

Had a great stay here. Quick walk from the train station (about 4-5 blocks), and across the street from the entrance into the historical city center. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and laid out well--it had everything I needed during my stay. The included breakfast was also quite good and had a decent amount of vegetarian options.

The location is close to the centre, everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable as well as the temperature inside the room, there's a small fridge, the hotel has a lift, it was quiet at night, breakfast was very good and definitely worth the money and last but not least, I could safely park my bicycle inside the locked hotel garage.

The single room was quite small

I stayed overnight during a motorcycle-trip to tuscany. The very friendly landlord performed a cool check-in and let me his closed garage to securely park my motorcycle overnight. That was very decent. The room was neat, clean and very silent during the night - the breakfast was plentyful and ok. So everything perfect for my purpose and the rather decent fare I paid in an otherwise expensive country.

Great location. Breakfast is basic but they are generous with the coffee so all good.

Aircon was switched off and we couldn’t operate it. The area is a bit noisy at night time and it was raining quite hard so we wanted the windows shut. This made the room quite stuffy. Also there was only one spare pillow in the room and it took a couple of tries to get another one….

The rooms were simple and very clean. The location was perfect-just a short walk from the train station and right at the top of the hill to the town. Everything was within easy walking distance. Breakfast was good as well. Staff was very friendly and even let me store my bag until my train later in the afternoon.

It is an older hotel, but well maintained.

Hotel Brennero is an excellent choice for accommodation in Bassano, which itself is an idyllic town and well worth visiting if you enjoy walking and other outdoor pursuits. The hotel is a short walk from both the train station and the town centre, and is very good value for a comfortable stay.

This was my second time staying at the hotel, and was a last minute booking. The first time I booked well in advance and was able to stay in one of the refurbished rooms. This time I had one of the older rooms which had some wear and tear, and was a little noisier. It was still a good stay and happy to recommend but suggest requesting one of the newer rooms if possible.

The hotel is great value for money. Whilst it is rated 3 star the facilities are very clean, neat and tidy. A few great restaurant/bars close by. A short stroll into town and safe to wander the streets to explore the area. Great views of the mountains. Reception were very helpful when I asked for an english speaking driver to take me to Conco and Fontanelle to explore where my grandparents lived.

There wasn't anything I was unhappy about

Everything was clean and well maintained, although the furniture is already a bit older. Breakfast was basic, but as expected for this price. There seems to be a locked garage specifically for bicycles, but I could still bring my roadbike to the room. Location is great, center is just a 5 minute walk away. Value for money is really great.

Bassano del Grappa is located near the base of Monte Grappa, one of cycling‘s premier climbs. For somebody looking for a no-frills hotel with friendly employees from which to base their own „conquest“ of Monte Grappa, the Brennero is agood place to do it. I was able to keep my bike in my room, but they also have a spot elsewhere. This isn’t a luxury hotel, but it’s a good value for the money.
