Honda-San was friendly & helpful. He even managed to arrange for our dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which was full. The staff were friendly & polite. The breakfast was awesome & generous portions. We had dinner too, we found the food was “Michelin” standard - great job by Chef Nakagawa-san, Chef Udah-san & their team. Room was good size, brightly lighted. Hotel nearby to restaurants, shops & beach.

We had the room with window facing East, the daylight brightened the room by 5am (April 2025) hence we could not sleep in. Some “black-out” curtains or blinds would be great.

The design was very unique, very tasteful and created a whimsical getaway from busting Tokyo life where we came from. Their staff were helpful, warm, with good service and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. In short, they were all delightful down to every last one we interacted with. The beds were comfortable, the communal bathroom was clean, and reminiscent of what we would expect at an onsen. The amenities in the room and in the lounge were great. Overall a wonderful stay where we were continuously pleased with what we encountered during our stay.

Maybe need some studier slippers to wear down to the bath. The slippers were comfy but a little too flimsy to wear outside of the room, which mean we had to wear our sneakers after bathing.

Museum style modern hotel located in the nice and quiet residential area, just a few minutes walk from 江ノ電 stop. Public area from the lobby to the common cafe lounge is well designed. Although way leading to the rooms could make you feel like playing in a maze. Welcome afternoon tea was a nice surprise, well above the standard with sparkling wine and quite a selection of snacks and sweets. Breakfast course is another highlight, which is reasonably priced.

The only thing to point out is bed is too soft for us, but that could be just a personal preference

Location is very convenient, just 5 minutes to the beach and about 15 to the train station but another ten minutes walking gets you to center of town. We did not use the trains because walking is nicer.

It was very clean. The welcome lounge was outstanding with snacks and mimosas. It was our 20 wedding anniversary so we had a little champagne. Breakfast was wonderful, it is made to order with plenty of coffee.

Lovely small hotel with great staff. Very comfortable and clean. As soon as you arrive, you feel relaxed; the ambience is peaceful and the decor soothing. Fab floral arrangements and good sento. Two minutes from beach. Lovely dinner with matched wines.

Room (like many in Japan) was quite small but not as small as some! The hotel does have bigger rooms. Could only get beer in the bar after 7pm (couldn't quite understand why).

What an amazing place! Location: 2-minute walk to the beach or the nearest small train station. Rooms: Spacious for Japanese standards, very comfy beds, super clean, very warm and beautiful. Breakfast: TOP NOTCH, super tasty, creative, made and presented with love and passion. Communal bath: TOP NOTCH, super clean, very spacious, great water temperature, nice Sauna. Staff: Super friendly and welcoming.

The bath house and breakfast were awesome!! Room size is fantastic. Wifi was great for video calls and meetings!! The staff were friendly and helpful 😊

You just had to walk a fair way or catch a train to get vegan food. Their breakfast was good but they didn’t have vegan options for dinner so we always had to go out.

From the moment you step into webase kamakura you are made to feel special. Hajime the General manager and head chef is hands on along with Finn Front manager. They and all the staff are exceptional and my wife and I rate this hotel as one of the best hotels we have ever stayed. It is clean spacious and the food both at breakfast and dinner 1st class. Nice location, close to the train station, beach and restaurants. Super friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and very comfortable for four. Hotel offers water, coffee and tea as well as light afternoon snacks from lounge for free. We also enjoyed the onsen and sauna!

Although the breakfast menu was good, it would be nice to have a more varied options for those who stay for more than 1-2 days.

The people were so kind and helpful. The afternoon Aperitivo was excellent

Each day I chose ‘ecological cleaning’ meaning basic services such as emptying bin and replacing some towels however the cleaner wouldn’t enter the room to empty the bin which was a bit problematic because we had baby diapers etc.
