Beautiful and serene spot with attentive staff. Comfy bed and decent mosquito net that actually covers without making you feel claustrophobic. Food was wholesome.

The road to get there is awful! Do not rely on either google maps nor maps.me. They had no signage on the road with the other resorts which added to the challenge. However, a staff member told us they had ordered new ones so this shouldn’t be a problem in the coming weeks. Lake Bunyonyi gets quite cold and the common area is all open air which I didn’t love - so definitely bring an extra layer of clothing.

My king room with a lake view was lovely - roomy, and extra bed for luggage placement, shelving in the bathroom. The view was the most serene of our two week Uganda tour. The boat ride to the resort because the road was washed out was an added bonus . The food was very good, too.

Unfortunately, the toilet in our room leaked and wreaked so we had to change rooms to smaller accommodations, but the view was still as good - lake, mountains, mist!

We loved the whole hotel setup, it was the quietest place ever and this is what we were looking for, it was relaxing, we could hear the birds wake up and the sun rising, the staff and chef were very respectful and kind, i recommend this hotel a 1000%.

I liked everything, the hotel had everything we expected.

Everything was amazing and we would especially want to point out Bruce, who took great care of us. Kitchen/food is more than high-level. We enjoyed in beautiful nature and kindness of people, which cannot be easily found.

Getting there by road is not recommended. We propose to use alternative access by motor boat.

Beautiful location - and fun being chauffeured by boat to the lodge! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the chef was excellent - probably the best meals that we have had in Uganda.

The location is absolutly wonderfull. You breath peace. Very spacefull room with nice views. Very clean.

The service needs to be more professionalised. The food was not increadible and some services are missed.

The food was incredible and as was the lovely manager.

Our toilet didn't work when we arrived which was disappointing. Also, the hotel website describes a private swimming beach when actually it was merely a small couch next to where the boats dock. This description should be altered so that guests dont have too high expectations.

Calm and charming accomodation in lake Bunyonyi. I would recommend it for anyone visiting this incredible spot in south Uganda. Thanks to the whole staff for taking care of us and specially to Robert for driving us safely back to Entenbe!
